My L1B blanket visa got rejected last week and my company suggested to apply for individual now. What are the success rate of individual visa these days and how much overall time it generally takes for overall processing under premium. Are we getting RFEe very frequently these days??

L1B Blanket visa question
Hi All,

I have scheduled my L1-B Blanket visa in two weeks at Vancouver consulate. I have been working at Amazon Vancouver currently for 15 months now. Prior to relocating to Vancouver, I worked at Amazon Seattle for 2.5 years. If VO asks my experience at Amazon, should I just tell 15 months since that is the exp outside of US or should I tell the overall exp as 3 years 8 months. I'm worried about my experience.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

L1 extension in canada approval rate
My L1B PED will be expiring in Mar 2020.
Planning to go to canada for extension stamping rather than applying to USCIS.

Please let me know if anyone know details about the below questions. It helps me to make a decision
1. Wage level L3 is needed for this ?
2. What if it gets rejected. Am I allowed to come back to US?
3. Do you know anyone who faced rejection in canada. Just want to rejection rate.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

L1A blank approved
Hi All - Wanted to share my experience as well, since i benefited so much reading through all the other experiences.

Biometrics - Easy breezy. Reached 1 min before my scheduled appointment and the staff there is very efficient. I was in and out in 20min.

Interview day - First security check; document sorting (put I-129S and 797 documents together and create 3 sets); cashier for fraud payment; fingerprinting and finally interview.

VO: Are you here for L1A with ABC company
Me: Yes

VO: What does it do?
Me: we do ...

VO: What are you working on right now?
Me: (slightly taken aback since i did not see this question from anyone else's experience, but i was able to quickly tell him the most recent project i worked on in 2 lines)

VO: How many direct reports will you have?
Me: 2

VO: Will you have indirect reports?
Me: Yes - 7

VO: Do you have hire and fire authority over your team?
Me: Yes

VO: What is your salary here?
Me: XX lakhs (more than 25)

VO: What is your salary going to be?
Me: ZZZ,000 (more than 120K)

VO: Which location will you be working from?
Me: Gave him the city

At this point VO stamped all the 3 I-129S copies as approved and as soon as i read the stamp, i was in heaven!

VO: Your visa is approved
Me: Thank you!

And thats it.
I agree with everyone else here - be confident, but ultimately completely luck based.
There could be some turning points though - like - during the hire and fire question, he looked at me directly and asked, for all others, he was looking into his screen and typing. I maintained eye contact and said yes.
I was not smiling like others mentioned they did - just was confident looking.
But each to his/her own.

All the best everyone!

H1B,L1B
Know that L1B Visa approval for QAs is going to be so hard now even though you good years of experience and talent.
How about the chances of H1B. I know that it is a lot system. Does QA stand as a set back for H1B also or it is purely a lot pickup irespective of whether you are a Dev or QA.
Some one please help me.

query regarding visa and passport expiry
Hi All,

My L1B blanket visa got approved on sep 5th. My slot was 11:30 am. The VO approved the visa for the duration mentioned in the petition which is 3 years from now around sep 2022.

Now the question is my passport is expiring around june 2021. what can i expect in the stamped visa in passport.

will it be same as what is approved in the petition or will it be the expiry date of passport?

Thanks in advance

L1B Visa got rejected
My turn to share the experience

Location : Chennai

My interview is suppose to happen @ 11am but it happened after 12.05 pm (Due to lot of peoples appeared on this day).

Officer seems already achieved the approval targets today and whoever comes next will get 221G SLIP.

The same has happened to me with Visa rejection and next 2 whoever followed ended in the same.

We spend almost 3hrs in standing , they decide approval in 2 minutes ...As times keeps moves rejection rates will be higher than in the morning.

L1A: Administrative processing under Section 8 CFR 214.2 (I)(ii)(B),(C) or (D), or INA 101(a)(15)(L)
Hello,
Can someone help me understand what it means when L1A petition status shows "Administrative Processing" under Section 8 CFR 214.2 (I)(ii)(B),(C) or (D), or INA 101(a)(15)(L)?

The feedback from the VO after interview is: "Not Clearly Approvable".
