My husband and I had our visa interview on 16th September,2019 at 9:30 am in US Consulate, Chennai. My husband visa (L1B) was issued whereas I was given a blue slip with Administrative process option ticked. We are newly married couple. We were asked about the marriage certificate and both our passports were kept. His status is showing issued but mine is still coming administrative process and was updated on 17th September. Anyone with same issue kindly revert back!!!

L1B Individual petition approved
Hi All,
My L1B Individual petition was approved on 9th August 2019 under premium processing. I have booked the appointment but my attorney has yet not received the approved petition letter from USCIS. Its more than a month now.
Is someone else in the same boat? Is there a way to find out where the document is, any helpline or email alias to get update on the status of document?

A: Explained the proprietary tools which will be involved in project.
Officer: Your visa is approved, breathe easy and feel free to hi-fi or something to each other (to me and my wife)
Also he had 1-2 questions in between actual questions to my wife related to marriage, etc.

Hi,
L1B RFE response is received by USCIS. In addition to that, my husband’s employer started premium processing and it’s more than 15 calendar days (almost 45 days) now. Also the overall 240 days after extension filing is also going to get over very soon.
Employer raised the case enquiry and no response came yet from USCIS
Anyone faced this situation or what can be do for next steps.

Hello All,
My L1A individual visa was filed on 24th Jan in the normal category ( Processing center - Texas ) but yet to get a response .
Anyone there in the same boat? what should be the processing time I should expect now?

9-11 Response and Biometric Entry-Exit Fee of $4,500
Hello All,
My case is blanked L1 A application.
Can anyone guide me as to when is the 9-11 Response and Biometric Entry-Exit Fee of $4,500 required to be paid? I work with a German MNC and am being transferred to USA.
Even in USA that total workforce for my company exceeds 20K and I dont think that more than 10% of these would be H1/L1 visa based employees.
Has anyone been asked to produce a Demand draft for this amount before?
My VISA interview is on Thursday 19th Sep

Time:11:30AM
Entered inside the US Consulate
Somebody will be there to help you arrange documents for L1 category
After arranging Documents then Went inside the US consulate and waiting in the line for the 500$ receipt
Then used my credit card to pay Anti-Fraud fee of 500$
Then moved to verfy the finger prints at counter 16A/B
Then waited for my interview. I was so nervous because all the L1 category were mostly getting rejected at that time.
My turn came then
Me: Good Afternoon Mam
VO: Good afternoon
VO: So you are applying for L1B category
Ans: Yes Mam
VO: What is the offered salary in US
Ans: Told YYYY $
VO: How long you have been with the company
Ans: 4 Years
VO: What is you specialization ?
Ans: I have an expertise on my company's tools and its technologies and blah blah
VO: Oh so you work on YYYY process related technologies
Ans: Yes Mam
VO: What were your assigments in the initial phase when you joined your company?
Ans: blah blah blah in 2 lines maximum
VO: So you are going to work in the same company
Ans: Yes Mam
VO: Where is your company office in US
Ans: California
VO: Do you have any dependents?
Ans: No
VO: I am approving your case, have a good luck with your new job
Ans: Thank you mam
It lasted for 2-3 minutes and for your kind information, I am into testing and my propsed job also in testing. So its a myth that for testing its hard to get L1B approved.

They will look for your body language and how you justify your roles and responsibilities. Your direct reportee count also matters I guess.
