Interview de-scheduled 4 months ago
Hi everyone!. I applied for naturalization on August 2019. On September 2019, I had my bio-metrics and on April 2019 i was supposed to have an interview which was de-scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. Until now I have not heard back from them. I live in New Jersey and was supposed to go to Newark , NJ for an interview if that makes a difference. I am worried. Anyone had similar issues ?

Thank you in advace

N-400 application
Hey guys - I'm new here. I've seen that this is one of the best forums to ask questions and share experiences. I've been a LPR since 5 years, and I applied for citizenship based on being a LPR for min 5 years. My sponsorship was based on sponsorship from relative (not marriage). In my 5 years, I have been to a foreign country only once for about a month. I don't have any such arrests or criminal history except I had a car accident and I was cited for failing to observe the oncoming traffic. I also have my tax returns for past 4 years. My PD is Aug 26th 2020, and my case status shows the estimation completion time as 7 months. What does this exactly mean? What's gonna happen after 7 months? And when are they going to call me in for bio metrics? Should I consider that they are not even working on my case as long as they don't send me bio metrics appointment?
Is it possible if they can use my biometrics from my previous immigration history? Fingerprints don't change!

Over a year outside the united states.
Hi everyone,so I would love to find out if the one year outside the United states would affect my naturalization process. I had been out of the usa back and forth for a total of 7months in the last three years, then I travelled to my home country and got stucked due to flight restrictions for another 6months which makes it a total of 13months.

According to this new president Trump's rule that one cant travel for a total of over 12months/a year to file for citizenship. Pls advise if I should go ahead or I would have to start another 3years process since in marriage based.

Thank you

Citizenship Interview today 09/15
Hello, wanted to share my experience today in Phoenix.
I was able to enter the building 15 mins before my scheduled interview. Inside everyone waited in line 3ft away to go through the metal detector. The officers even sent back people that had only a bandana to cover their mouth.they require a better mouth cover. . Inside the waiting room a lot of seats were removed and there were signs where not to sit.. we were maybe 15/20 waiting over maybe 80/100 seats so pretty distanced. I waited around 40 minutes before getting called called. The officer was very polite and apologized for the delay. We were in the same room but divided by a plexiglass both wearing masks of course. He asked me if I understood why I was there and that he was going to place me under oath. After that he asked me if anything had changed in my application since I sent it. He started asking 6 civic questions, then reading and writing once sentence. I think this was the easier part, maybe 5 minutes. Then he asked me quite a few questions regarding my application, no definitions though and he didn’t ask to see any documents I had brought, he had everything. After 20 minutes my interview was done.. he made me review some changes and then I asked about the oath. He apologized and told me that by a few minutes I wasn’t gonna make it to the ceremony they were having today. I was bummed..
So he said they should schedule my ceremony within 2/3 weeks. He gave me a paper saying my application was approved (the status has changed already on the website too) congratulations and escorted me out.

Hope it goes well for everyone!!

Houston Oath Update!!
Here is my latest experience:
https://www.immihelp.com/experiences/post/houston-update-512019/

Today I used "Check your case status" and found out that oath ceremony notice was mailed and that I should receive the notice before October 15. I logged in and the system still does NOT show that update. I'm not sure why. No date/time yet.

Keeping fingers crossed! Good luck y'all.

Interview question
Anyone can advise. So i applied in january 08th 2020 online
Biometrics done on the 28th
Field office baltimore md. But in august 31st i moved from maryland to virginia fairfax county i changed my address online and submitted the form AR-1.
On 09/11/2020 i received my interview letter and it shows my new address in virginia but my interview location will be baltimore md instead of the one in virginia.
Did they just ignore my address change? Or im at risk they will reschedule my interview and assign it to the closest office near me. I just dont want to show up on my interview date and then they send me home.
Any advice?
