New York interview Scheduled yay!
i have struggeled for a long time, i came into this country when i was 12/13 , now 43..and i was a runaway because of cihld abuse, so while my family all became naturalized i was in the dark because i wasnt close to them but then that changed my mom and i got close and i got my green card on 2013
i summited my n400 on aug 2019 and took this long i guess because of covid only made it worse with the delays , i wasnt expecting to hear from them until ether end of this or next year
but i got an email and onlines shows that NOTICE was sent with scheduled date for interview excited

After Naturalization ceremony
Hi, I went to my naturalization ceremony. I changed my name. Should I wait until I update the SSN to apply to an US passport? or should I update SSN, update DMV records and then apply for the passport? Thanks!

Second interview
Hi everyone,
I got my first N400 interview in March. Passed the test but the decision was not made. Requested more evidences due to I applied based on 3 years marriages. My husband filled our joint tax return in my mother in-law address. I send all the evidences on 03/18. No updated since then. I called to request update on my case because it was passed 120 days. We have just received the request to take second interview yesterday and my husband has to attend the interview with me. Has anyone heard about the second interview? It sounds strange with us so we don’t know what will we have to prepare. Thanks

Received a notice letter 9th of August with the receipt number

Does anyone have any updates about Fresno field office?
Are they even interviewing people? Haven't heard anything from them. My process was supposed to be completed in June. Haven't yet got the interview notice yet.

Me and my wife are done with the Citizenship process.
Here is a timeline:
Early November 2019 - Applied via mail.
Late November 2019 - Went for Biometrics.
Early February 2020 - Your Interview has been scheduled (for April)
Early March 2020 - Your Interview has been de-scheduled
Late July 2020 - Your Interview has been scheduled (for early August 2020)
I had a work-based Green Card, my wife got it the same year I did, as dependent, and we ere applying after 5 years of being US Residents.
Me and my wife attended separate interviews this week in West Palm Beach, same day and time, both got approved right there, her interviewing officer as well as my interviewing officer told us this: "Due to COVID 19 we are not conducting ceremonies in a traditional manner, but we are taking the Oath Of Allegiance individually in this office at the end of the interview, and you will walk out to another room where you will wait for your Naturalization Certificate".
So, right at the end of the interview, I took the Oath, he said "congratulations on becoming a US Citizen" and told me: "Please sit at the waiting room where you will be called".
I sat there with my wife for about 20 minutes, together with about 10 more people, all with chairs set up more than 6 feet apart, 20 minutes later another gentleman came, called us by name, gave us the US Citizen Welcome Package with the Naturalization Certificate, asked us to check that the names and data were correct, encouraged us to exercise our rights as Americans and wished us the best !.
Everything was done very professionally, safe for everybody, efficient and in an excellent and organized way.
So, basically, I went to West Palm Beach for my N400 Interview and came out as US Citizen, and for what I heard from the officer, it is standard procedure, at least there, all done in the same day.
Thank god it is over ! , now, back to work and keep contributing to this great country.

Hello everyone,
I check my account online today and USCIS says they reuse my previous Biometrics that I don’t need Biometrics appointment,
My question is this : is it that possible? And after that should I just expect interview notice?

1 year since biometrics...and nothing. Phoenix
It’s officially been a year since my husband completed his biometrics and still no interview has been scheduled. I think all hope is lost for him voting this year :(

Charlotte Interview
Today, I and my wife had citizenship interview and subsequent oath within less than 30 minutes. We filed on 27th Dec 2019 and had biometrics in first week of Jan 2020. My wife was scheduled earlier on 23rd April but was rescheduled after COVID. I was never scheduled before. Finally the journey is over. The interview experience was very smooth and there were no surprises.Good luck everyone.
