N-400 Interviews - Update on Houston Field Office
There was an 'C33 Stakeholders Quarterly Meeting' by USCIS from 2:30-3:30 CST today. On there were Directors from Houston, Dallas and Oklahoma Field Offices as well as Regional Field Offices Director giving updates on their respective segments.
Houston Field Office Director - Wallace Carroll provided update that n400 and i485 interviews have resumed since last week and that they will pick full steam starting next week. I posed a question on the status of clearing n400 backlog - his answer was they expect to clear all previously de-scheduled interviews by 09/30, provided conditions don't worsen (furloughs, covid, etc.).
Dallas and Oklahoma Office Directors also said their offices have resumed interviews but i didn't get a chance to listen more on those offices. Sorry!

Hello everyone,
I joined the Army reserve in January 2020 and soon I will be shipped to the BMT. I received many different information about the Naturalization, my recruiter told me that they will start the process as soon as I start the Bmt, others say that I have to serve for at least 1 year during peace time... Anyone who kindly could five me some idea how the whole process works?
I am looking forward to become a citizen in order to apply for a different MOS that requires the citizenship.

Buffalo Field Office
Hi Guys. I placed a service request with USCIS Buffalo Field Office based on the fact that my case was out of their stipulated processing time frame and got the response below. Has anyone received such response? My case was filed since 01/14/2019 without any notice for Naturalization Interview. I originally filed at the NYC office then moved to Buffalo and the case was transferred to this field office.
