NYC? requested a name change?
The good news is that the courts move to Phase 2 on July 6th. The bad news is that the judicial oath ceremonies will start only on Phase 3.
So if you requested a name change, the oath may happen by the end of july or early August.

Have not received physical letter
Hi All,
I have my oath ceremony scheduled for next Wed but I still haven’t received the physical letter. Wonders if I could just print out the doc from my account.

Buffalo Field Office
Has anyone received Interview notice at the USCIS Buffalo field office? My case was transferred there since March and i am yet to receive any update on interview.

Passed my Citizenship interview Today
Hi guys, i read a lot from this site while prepping for my interview so feel like it is only fair to share my experience as well.
Applied for citizenship in January.
Finger prints - February.
Received Interview letter in June. Appointment was set for July 1st.
So i went in there today, everyone required to wear masks and seats were 6 feet distanced.
It was 8 am so there were only 3 people plus me.
Got checked in, they took my picture and fingerprints again. Then waited for my interviewer. Everyone were very nice and polite which made me calm down a lot. My interviewer called my name, he also was very pleasant.
He asked 6 questions:
One native American Indian tribe
Governor of my state
Representative of my state
who is in charge of the executive Branch
Highest Court
last one i don't remember
to read:
Where is White House is located.
To write:
White House is located in Washington DC
Some questions abt myself and that was it.
I was out by 8:50.
Interview itself were 15-20 min max.
Location : Alabama.
Good luck everyone, just remember to stay calm.

My cancelled interview from March 24th, has been rescheduled to July 14th!!

Estimated Wait Time shows We are taking longer than expected to process your case
Hi, I see this on my application portal for estimated wait time: "We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time".
Anyone has experience with this, please share.
Does this status get updated with new wait time or should I just keep checking everyday for a notification. ( I had filed at the NYC Manhattan office)

Raleigh rescheduled interview
My canceled interview from March 16th has been rescheduled. I currently can not see for which date as the notice has not yet appeared in my documents. Just wanted to share!
