Los Angeles/ San Fernando Valley oath today.
For inquiring minds.

Oath scheduled for 8:00 AM.
Arrived at 7:30
Told to wait outside until 7:45
Walk in, greeted at a table, gave them my letter, was told to go to line up at Window 5 after going through security.
Security is just like the airport.
Same area you go to interviews.
There were 3 windows open. 1, 3 and 5. I was first. 10 people in line to a window.
Only 30 people per "ceremony"
Sat down answered the same questions asked on the letter.
Handed my Green Card, he handed me my Naturalization Certificate, asked if it was correct, I said yes, then handed me
a flag and an envelope with information, and told to sit at a marked seat.
Seats were marked 8 apart. Alternate rows empty.

Waited 30 minutes until all 29 other people were processed.
USCIS employee at a makeshift podium certified to a USCIS officer that we all met the conditions for citizenship.
The officer stepped up, asked us to repeat oath. When oath was read, he directed us to exit the rear emergency door, as the next wave
of people arrived.
Short and very un-eventfull.
Very anti-climactic.Very solemn.
Would have enjoyed celebrating with 5000 other new citizens at the Convention Center.

Oath Ceremony Schedule - Houston, TX
Hi All,

My original oath ceremony was March 18.

Yesterday, around 3PM yesterday I got an email my oath ceremony has been scheduled. Checking my document tab, the letter was posted the same day for June 4, 10AM which was earlier in the same day!!!

Lost and confused, I called Contact Center and was told to not worry. I was placed back in queue for schedule because the field office was closed the entire day yesterday.

Anyone has the same experience? I

SFO Oath Update - Leadership Call
Hello All,

My attorney just had a call today and they are open with only 25% of the staff working. According to her, for the first 2 weeks (Jun 15th to Jun 30th) they will be focusing on completing Naturalization applications, that is oath ceremonies for all of them whose z ceremonies got cancelled. The ceremony will be only for 10 minutes with multiple ceremonies in a day. No passport nor social security services will be available. All the ceremonies will be held in SFO Field office Washington / Sansome street. They will either send an e mail or mail the notices, she mentioned keep checking Spam boxes as time is very short. Good Luck All.
