Oath Ceremony in Houston
Houston resumed the ceremonies and here is my experience.
I swore in last Friday on May 29th, my appointment was at 10am, and they started to let people in 15 minutes before at 9:45. No guests were allowed in. The personnel was very efficient and very helpful inside and happy, after all it was a celebratory day :). I presented my letter and I had to surrender my green card, and I was invited to sit at a chair assigned to me. There was a total of 36 people swearing in. The ceremony took less than 10 minutes all together. I was handed my certificate, asked to double check the info and that was it, by 10:30 I was out of the building and en route to home.

My oath ceremony in Memphis TN Field Office

Citizenship through marriage
I had my green card through asylum, then I married a us citizen and we have been together for 3 years and we have children’s too. So when we got married we didn’t make a marriage certificate, we made a traditional marriage. So can I apply a N400 now or I have to make the marriage certificate and wait 3 years, or can I apply the marriage certificate now and apply citizenship right away? Please answer me. Thank you.
