Houston Oath Ceremony Jun and Jul' 2018
Going to attend 20 Jun oath ceremony at Houston, not for me, but to be as family member with my spouse.
I am still waiting for my oath letter (online case status: 'in line for oath ceremony').
Please share your status if you are expecting / have received letter for 25th Jul oath ceremony.

Asking for later date of oath ceremony at the interview
Anyone knows if you can successfully ask to schedule your oath ceremony passed a certain date? Our interviews are on 17 and 18th of July at Federal Plaza but we are planing a trip on July 24-August 5th. Not sure how much time it takes these days between the interview and the oath and we are hoping we won’t need to reschedule. Can you ask the officer at your interview to schedule the oath pass a certain date in order to avoid the rescheduling hustle? Anyone has a successful story with that?

from in line for oath to oath scheduled?
hi, after waiting for almost a month after interview, my line status finally changed to "in line for oath". I am just wondering how long it typically takes from inline oath to oath scheduled. I have several trips coming..just want to see how I can plan ahead. thank you!

Need to apply for expedited passport, couple of q's
Do they charge acceptance fee of 35 in addition to expedited fee?
Is it walk in friendly or strictly by appointment only.
If expedited will i get passport same day?

Here is my experience, from NYC (live in Queens)
5/1/2017 - Sent Form N-400
5/8/2017 - Application received
6/2/2017 - Fingerprint scheduled
2/21/2018 - Interview (Manhattan)
6/12/2018 - Oath Ceremony (Brooklyn) (Requested a name change so it took a little longer than expected)
Note:
1) For the Oath Ceremony, bring all green cards, including expired. During the Oath Ceremony, they will ask you to turn in all green cards. I told the officer that I threw away my expired green cards and he gave me a hard time. Like “why did you threw away expired green cards”, “who told you to do that”. I just told him that I did not know I was suppose to keep/save expired green cards. At the end he let it slide. What can he do, I don’t have them anymore.
2) I don't know about other locations but in Brooklyn-Cadman Plaza Courthouse, you have to check-in your cell phone and pick it up when it’s over. Cell phones are not permitted inside the Oath Ceremony courtroom.
3) Oath Ceremony last about 3 hours 30 minutes. 225 people were naturalized.
