NYC Queens office post interview (a month ago), different answers from office to inquiries
For people whose field office is Queens, NY here is what is going on with my case after a month after interview:
I have made infopass, e-inquiry, talked to L2 officers (3 times). Received different statuses from each over the course of weeks and completely inconsistent.
First I called L2 officers who told me it is under supervisor review I just have to wait. Made an online inquiry and received a response from field office back in 31st January that I am being scheduled for an oath ceremony.
Here comes the weirdest one: I had an infopass yesterday and when they checked my status they said my case went to quality review and is being checked for criminal checks,etc....How the hell??? I have waited for interview for 9 months!! what did you guys do in 9 months? I told the officer that interviews are scheduled after background checks and I was approved in the interview how come it is going to be checked again? Also I told her that I received an email saying I am being scheduled for oath yet what she is telling me is I am under review AFTER I received that email, it is so inconsistent. She said I am being impatient and have to wait 4 weeks of wait is nothing. I told her people finish their oath ceremonies in a month without waiting yet my online status still says interview scheduled.
Anybody in this situation? Having vague answers and waiting over a month in Queens? I have requested senators help because I think this is an unnecessary hold up considering it will be a year next month that I have submitted my application.
Who responds to online inquiries anyway? I dont know which one to believe.

Interview 8/1/2017 - Was not approved at interview.
USCIS Case Status page is still showing that they scheduled his interview. I filed an inquiry at the end of 12/2017. Received response on 1/9/2018 that his application is still under review and they will mail us something when it's decided. Has anyone else had to wait this long???

hi friends am new here I sent my appilication form n400 citizenship in November 02 2017 and got my fimgerprint in novem 22 and since then nothing just an automatique email that say no update in ur application since novem 22 ,so why it took so long for backround check ,my name is rare and no history criminal ect nothing only a few trips to Canada in the last few years thank you for ur help am really anxious !

Is selective service status letter needed for over 31 years old?
I've lived in US since a child and was never aware about this registration (I'm serious). My interview is in 3 weeks and I do not have time to obtain a letter. I wrote a statement about it when I submitted my N400 and got the interview, no RFE requested. Anyone here older than 31+ here pressed hard about it during the interview?
