(Asylee filer)

Hello everyone, I did my naturalization interview today and I passed all the civic tests and reading and writing as well.
At last officer gave me a white sheet of paper saying 'decision cannot be made at this time'. She said my application looks good but supervisor needs to review my application again and will send the decision in mail.

The thing is I had not registered for selective service when I was between 18 and 26. I was unaware about selective service. when I realized about the selective service it was too late because I was over 26 then and I called selective service and obtained letter from them which I submitted with my n400 while filing with the explanation that I was unaware about it.

Next thing, I had a speeding ticket which I mentioned at the time of interview to the officer and gave her the payment receipt. It was under $100.

My question is will the above issues will create a problem regarding my decision ?
I am so stressed. Please let me know if anyone had similar case like this before.
Thank you.

01/02/2018 - INTERVIEW DAY !

Got to interview 1/2 hour before and was called by officer 20 minutes later. My wife got up with me and he asked if she was my wife, she said yes. He said she had to wait outside and not to worry, that he would have me out in 15 minutes. He was very nice. He asked if I had my passport and my wife said yes, he has both of ours.
I went inside, he did the oath. He asked for my green card and passports. He then said I qualified to apply under the 5 year as permanent resident so I didn't need to show him all my documents ( I had birth certificates for wife and our children, marriage certificate from our civil and church wedding, bills, leases, contracts and photos)
He went over my application page by page, section by section very quickly. I told him I traveled one time after I submitted my application for a few days to Canada and he said that was okay.

He then told me to read "Where is Congress located"
Then to write " Congress is in Washington"

Questions:

Who was 1st President of the United States?
Name 3 of the First 13 colonies
What state borders Mexico?
Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?
(I can't remember the other 2)

He then wrote on a white page and I asked if I passed he said yes you passed you are approved.

He gave me white page and it had 2 checkmarks, one saying you passed test , other saying you are recommended for approval.

He said I would receive Oath letter in mail bc that location doesn't do same day oath letter.

I was very nervous and spent weeks studying everyday with our children and my wife, but officer was very nice and interview only took 15 minutes. Just study all 100 questions.

Next step Oath Ceremony!!

NBC Case Number
Does anyone know if you have the 'NBC' in the beginning of your case number it means the case is with the National Benefits Center in Missouri? If so, would the processing time for this office apply to such case?
I have this center's address in my receipt and was wondering if I should follow this office's processing time.

I need to review your application
Can someone pls advice. I had my interview 4wewks today, everything went well,I answered the first questions and passed everything but the the IO marked 'B' which says decision couldn't be made at that time. Still I haven't heard anything from USCIS and I am beginning to be worried. The application was received November 2016.

Thanks everyone and I wish us best of luck. Dallas field office.

Is any one know what does that mean "Case Is In Line For An Interview". Is that mean background check is done and I'm waiting for the interview to be scheduled based on the current queue or they still waiting for the background check or something else.

Los Angeles
Looking for someone on the same boat or on the same timeline in Los Angeles.

note: I have a misdemeanor more than 10 years ago.

10/22/2017 - N400 RECEIVED
11/08/2017 - BIOMETRICS NOTICED
11/20/2017 - BIOMETRICS DONE (NOTE: my biometrics was quick did not scan all the fingers, as per the IO, "you are in the system already")

Up to this date it says "we got your biometrics we are still reviewing your case".

I noticed that some get "in line for an interview after just a week of biometrics". Should i be worried?
