Regarding tax documents for N-400 interview
Dear friends,

As I knew, I need to prepare the past 5 years of federal tax return transcripts for N-400 interview. Are ther e anyone know do I need also to prep the past 5 years of state tax return?

The state tax transcripts are not available through online order. I have to write letter to request official state tax transcripts from our state office and it will take 6~8 weeks to receive it.

Best regards,

Oath Ceremony
I am finally at the end of my journey, today I became a US Citizen.

I took my Oath in Atlanta, there were 126 of us from 53 different countries, when ai arrived I went to the second floor, any family and friends have to go to the 3rd floor, where I had to take a seat with the other applicants and an office came by and checked my GC against my letter and also went through the questions on the back with me.
Once everybody has been check, we were taken, one row at a time, into the Ceremony room where we lined up to hand in our letters and GC in exchange for a number, then we had to go sit in the same numbered chair.
When we were all seated someone told us about the procedure and some relevant information, then the friend and relatives were allowed in to sit in any spare seats.
Each country represented was read out in Alphabetical order and when the read your country you had to stand.
We had the national anthem, a short video and then we all said the Oath together, during which people were invited to freely roam about and take photos. Once that was done the friends and relatives had to leaves and wait in the hall outside while we filed out in order, handed in our number and was handed our certificates.
A very emotional, proud and tiring day, but so glad ai did it.

Good luck to all of you still going through the process, I Hope your wait isn't too long.

About the interview
Hello, all:
My interview is coming soon, ny question is about the N-400 form: will the office go over all items of the form one by one? How detailed will the N-400 items be asked?

Thanks!

Re: Oath Ceremony, Los Angeles Area

Hello,

For people who have their oath ceremony at the LA Convention Center on the 18th, I am wondering how the location is listed in the letter. Mine says:

"US DISTRICT COURT CENTRAL DISTRICT"

and then lists the LA Convention Center address, but says (SAA) at the end of the address.

Looks like there is only one location for the July 18th oath ceremony, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Houston Filers
Update for Houston filers. I just received a text confirming that my interview is scheduled. I'm still waiting for the PDF to be uploaded on the website.

PD - Aug 23rd, 2016
Biometrics notification - Aug 26th, 2016
Completed biometrics - Sept 8th, 2016
"Interview scheduled" notification - Jul 14, 2017
Interview date - TBD (should find out tomorrow)

There seems to be a more predictable pace for the Houston FO over the last few weeks. Based on what I was reading from other postings, I estimated getting my interview notification by Jul 19th, and it came in a few days earlier. So hang in there folks!

Changing address before interview scheduled, should I?
Hi,

I recently moved to a new address (same city), we know the person who bought our house and she mentioned she'll keep an eye on the mail for any notification I receive. the key reason to have the mailing address updated is to mainly receive the notifications during the process, am I correct?

Changing my address would/could delay my citizenship process?

Currently the status of my process is: "Case is in Line for Interview". I have 4 months waiting (FP done on March 2017). I know the waiting is long, and even more for Houston field office.

Is there anybody out there that had the same situation? anybody that had issues when changing the address?

Anybody that could share your experience or know situation that could help me to decide if changing my address in the middle of the process or not, I would appreciate.

Thanks in advance,

How long is the wait in Baltimore area?
Hi everyone,
Here are my time line:
Mailed my form N400 May 2, 2017
Receipt May 5, 2017
FP on June 2, 2017
In line for interview schedule on June 6, 2017.

My question is, how long do I have to wait for my status to change and to receive my interview letter. Are there anyone with experience from the Baltimore service area? I'd gladly appreciate your input.
Thanks.
