i have applied for citizenship and mailed the application to AZ and got the notice and received a letter for my fingerprint in Nov 18 2016 since then no other news, in April requested an infopass for my case and went to Chicago office, still no word.
has anyone experience the same thing here in Illinois ?
How long does it take after the fingerprint to go for the interview in Chicago, IL ?
Any suggestion ?

Long waiting for oath ceremony
We had interview on April 6. I received my letter for oath ceremony for May 15th. My husband case still status in the line to schedule oath ceremony. We are in Chicago office. Any experiences with long waiting?

For my field office still at August 2016 my application was mailed
On February 2017 So that's mean from August to February still 6 months
Left ? Don't know how's the processing works already waited 4 months
So far and add another 6 months I'm not sure this is right estimate time or not !!

Questions about the interview
Please give some advice for the questions about the interview?
1. Is it a must to bring birth certificate? (I don't have one)
2. Will the immigration officer ask details about how you got the green card?
3. Is it necessary to take some photos?
4. Is it allowed to take cell inside?
5. Is it necessary to take employment verification letter?
6. Is it necessary to take check books (not sure there are some fees to be charged)
7. Do the immigration officer speak fast?

Another update today for my husband
Guys just wanted to inform you today afternoon just one day after my unpdate ,my husband received an update case email and his status also have been changed from fingerprints to interview was scheduled after 10 months.
We applied last year at the same time and it was really big relief for both of us in just two days got these updates.
I wanted to tell processing time is so important because right now in L.A field office processing time is showing august 10 as of april 30 and our PD was August 27, so you just make sure your case is still in processing time and if you contact them and they told you,your background check is complete and your file is eligible or ready for interview despite your status still showing fingerprint, don't worry about this status and how long have you been waited,be sure they will call you before your case will go out of normal processing time,so just wait and be patient although i know how difficult is that.
Hope all of us reach end of this journey successfully.

After almost six months of FP, just got this message. "On June 27, 2017, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization "

Status changed after 10 months waiting
Hi guys
This afternoon i have received a case update email and finally after 10 months my status from fingerprint has been changed to interview was scheduled , now i am hopefully waiting for my pdf file and my letter in mail.
My husband case is still showing fingerprint status.
Hope this post can help those who are waiting for too long,i know how painful is that,wish all of you luck and will update you later.
By the way my field office is Los Angeles.
