Renewal denied
Hi everyone I want to share my experience and seek advise on my next interview.

My profile: I’m a 3rd year nursing student in university, 22, I’ve only ever travelled in school breaks never stayed more than two months, never extended my flight return dates. I went to get my visa renewed along with my brother because we both got our visa at the same time so it expired the same time. He is 25, his am entrepreneur help my father with his business. His last couple trips were very lengthy sometimes 5 months. My father is a government worker plus owns a business for almost 5 years now. He has enough funds to cover the entire trip.

The interview

Me and brother: Goodmorning sir
VO: could I have your passports please and confirmation paper

VO: what’s your purpose of travel?
Both of us: to visit our grandma for her 69th birthday

VO: what do you do?
Me: I’m a student
Brother: I’m an entrepreneur

VO: Do you live with your parents?
My brother: Yes
Me: no, we live with our father, stepmother and baby brother.

VO: what’s the longest you’ve ever stayed?
Me: 7 weeks
Brother: he didn’t answer

VO: I’m sorry but you are not qualified for this visa today.
Both of us left.

I was very shocked that I was denied and I think I was denied because of my brothers bad travel record and the fact that my brother wasn’t thinking before he answered so it looked at if we were lying when I really want lying. When he asked the length and my brother didn’t answer I’m assuming he is thinking it’s the same amount of time for my brother too which isn’t so before he had stayed way longer than that so he should’ve answered. Our first visa were as minors This experience was very confusing.

I plan to apply on my own this time but my father will accompany me on my trip though. Do you think I have a good chance by myself? I really need a vacation.

Chances for B2 visa
My profile:
Male, 27-year-old.
I was working as an employee until 6 months back and had a salary of over 15 Lakh per annum.
Currently, I have started a software business of my own and have we buyers in India however income is not as smooth as an employee. I have over 13 lakhs in my bank account.
I have previously visited Malaysia and Uzbekistan.

I want to go to the US in February for tourism purposes.
I have my Visa interview on 9th and 10th Oct 2019 in Chennai.

I would be sponsoring my travel. I plan to book and take refundable flight tickets, accommodation tickets and travel itinerary that I have planned for the visa interview.

Anything, in particular, I should be wary of? And what are the chances?

B1/B2 visa approved
Hi All,

I want to share my experience.

Am working in a MNC as lead consultant, I have 12 years of experience.

I got my B2 visa in the year 2009 for 10 years.

I have been to US for 3 times

1st trip in the year 2009 for 3 weeks
2nd trip in the year 2013 for 2 weeks
3rd trip in the years 2018 for 1 month

In the year 2017 i went for H1b stamping, they kept my application on hold stating 221(g) administrative processing.it is still showing as administartive processing till now.

in Mar-2019 my b1/b2 visa got expired.

I went for b2 visa stamping in hyderabad. they rejected my application. below question were asked.

what is the purpose the trip
how many times you have been to US?
what do you do?
what is the status of your H1B?
why did you stayed for 1 month last time.
is all your trips are personal or official
How did you manage your work here if you were leave for 1 month.

I was surprised as how come they can reject my visa as i just stayed for 2 or 3 weeks or max 1 month in US.

Through this site only i come to know about visavikings US visa counsellors. I approached them.

They have guided me in a proper way starting from filling the DS-160 form, appoinment booking and till interview.

Mainly they will prepare you with respect to the questions which will be asked during the interview and how we need to answer them in a proper way.

They will take 2-3 mock sessions before the interview which will build the confidence.

Again i reapplied for B2 visa and my visa was approved on 26th september-2019.

Thanks

B2 visa denied
Hi, so today my aunt and cousin had their visa interview. When the officer called my cousin in, she was asked to give him her passport, which she did. Once the officer introduced her information through the computer, he asked her about her dad. Through her dad’s history, he went to the US illegally and got deported. Afterwards, the officer told her that her visa was denied due to insufficient information. However, the officer never asked her to show proof of her sponsor’s information. Similarly, my aunt’s visa was also denied because of her ex-husband. Please help with this situation.

B2 VIsa - Invitation Letter Date
Hi,

Initially we have interview appointment date scheduled for Nov 19 and i have received the invitation letter dated 19 November. However, since i see interview slots prior to Nov 19 i have rescheduled my interview to an earlier date. So my query is, do i need to have an invitation letter with the new interview appointment date or is it ok if i take the letter dated Nov 19 earlier.

Thanks,
Siddhardh.
