Visa denial for the 2nd time
Hi,
I had applied for the visa first time in around 2014 with my mother, My younger brother is in US and he was sponsoring us. But I was in between jobs, so my visa was rejected. Luckily my mother got visa. Now My brother wished that my mother could come for vacation to his place in US. As she cannot travel alone(she cannot speak in English), so I applied for visa and I got an appointment on 24th of June. On the query of purpose of visit, I said the same thing, that my mother wish to take vacation with my brother, she cannot travel alone so I'll be accompanying her, travel some nearby places and return in couple of weeks. My brother Is capable and is sponsoring all the expenses of both stay and travel for the vacation. I am working in a multinational company with a senior position for more than 2 yrs, also with an income that I can bear my travelling expenses. I am married just a year ago. But my visa was rejected again.

So what went wrong ? I was all prepared with all the information available on the internet. Twice my money was wasted.

B1/B2 renewal query--atypical case, need advise
Hi everyone!
I need to renew my b1/b2 visa for first time.
Earlier,I was in my final year med school in India. I was given visa with 3 months validity. I visited US (Officer at port of entry allowed stay for 6 months) and returned after 4 weeks {While filling ds-160 form back then i mentioned probable stay of 7 days}.
Now, i have graduated. I applied for renewal citing similar reason but this time stay of 8weeks. Also joined a job just couple of days prior to filling DS 160 for renewal. I met all the criteria for Interview waiver. I submitted passport at dropbox. However, i have been asked to visit Embassy for interview any working day within a year from now.
Now, it's confusing. I don't want my visa to get denied for any reason. Should i go for interview immediately OR wait 5-6 months (as by then, i'd have a regular job of that duration--probably a favorable factor ) and push my visit for later time. Also, if i push my visit, there would be discrepancy of details submitted in DS 160 and what i'd be telling Consular officer after 5-6 months from now, Is there any option which allows us to update DS160 data in this scenario??
Thanks for reading this long query.
Really appreciate your help!
