Hi All,
Just want to share my experience. Went for my first h1b interview chennai consulate. The work location address in my lca is wrong i never checked it ( kindly check your LCA address it should be same as your work location ) . After going for interview visa officer was very kind and she identified that my address got wrong after seeing my client letter address and my lca address then she gave 221 g to update the new amended documents to an email address given in 221g form. Applied for amendement premium processing done with the amendment and sent the new lca , i129 and approved petition to email address given in the 221g form. on 17th sep my status got changed to issued and on 18th sep got an email to pickup the passport.
Kindly check you address in LCA before going for interview.

During interview on July 5th at New Delhi, VO asked all the basic questions handed over 221G white slip asking for more documents, have submitted them on July 11th, still awaiting on the update. Its been 6 weeks now when contacted consulate on status, they say same what we see online.
I am with same employer and client(EVC model) since last 6 years, and without any issues I got extended so far, this is first time in my 10 years of US journey I am facing this issue.
My client is tired of waiting on me. PLEASE SAVE!!!

Questions asked:
1. What is highest degree? Masters
2. Which university? answered
3. Which Year? 2011 -2012
4. Where did you worked on opt? I said never worked on opt did masters on H1 B.
5. What is your salary?
Asked couple of basic questions looking at my I-797 like employer and visa duration. Asked no document..
He said have to do administration check which will delay 1 or two days.
Took my passport and gave 221G White with tracker number, checked nothing on the form.
Status showing AP from 08/03
Case Last updated 09/05. Status AP
09/06: Status issued
09/07: Received passport
