Though I haven't verified with Client if they have replied to consulate or not but my client manager has given all required information to concerned team when they reached out to him.
UPDATE :
17 Nov : Got email to submit passport
20 Nov : Submitted Passport
21 Nov : passport reached US embassy/consulate from VAC center
24 Nov : Status date changed to 24 Nov from 16 Oct but still under admin processing
27 Nov : Status changed to Issued
Now waiting for passport to be delivered at home (opted for premium delivery)
29 Nov : Passport delivered at home, booked tickets for Dec 1

On Oct 5 i get to know that my visa is in 221g processing. VO didn't give anything at the time of interview. Just said we will review.
Oct 16: No update.
Nov8 : DOS Contacted Client
Nov 9: Client replied.
Nov 22: last updated date changed. Status still admin processing.
Nov 24: Status changed to Issued.
Nov 27 : Passport Collected.
Note: In most cases DOS is verifying client. So keep inform the client that they can get query from DOS. If client miss the query or does not reply then visa can stuck else it will be through.

Hi,
I work for global company on H1. I had a visa interview on 16th October 2017 and VO issued a white slip which says Administrative Processing. VO asked me very basic questions like what you do, how long you been working, did you do masters etc. then she issued a white paper and said at this time we don't need any additional documents from you, but we would need to do administrative processing on your case. Its been almost more then 6 weeks and i song see any update on my case. Website showing status as Administrative processing and last updated date of 19th OCTOBER. I am pretty sure most of the people in this forum went through this phase and would need some suggestions on my case,

My masters and occupation is in a TAL field, and have been issued a 221g two times earlier. Date of interview was 18 Oct and waiting on the processing to be completed (on the 6th week now). There has been no case update since the first update. In white slip they asked me for a description of my background, travel history, current work, past research and such things.
If anyone can give an idea of what is the average processing time of such cases in New Delhi, it would be highly appreciated and helpful. Thank you

Even my 221 slip not marked with Administrative Processing, still they do some verification?
Any one have any idea what verification and how long it will take approximately?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Escalated after 60days.
Got another 221G to appear for 'Panel Physicain Evaluation', returned the passport along with 221G.
Appeared for Panel Physician appearance in Apollo Hospital and they sent report on the 3rd after the test.
With in 3 Business days received and email to submit the passport.
After submitting the passport, they issues visa in 3 business days.
Back to US and no question in POE.
