08/02 - Appeared for interview. VO started with standard questions.Mentioned that she cannot see the employer details in the system .hence issued 221g asking for Client letter ,Employer Tax returns , petition, List of employees,Itinerary of services etc.Kept the passport
08/04 - The passport was returned with a yellow slip asking for the same docs
08/05 - e-mailed all the documents to [email protected] an automated response.

10/6 - last updated date changed on CEAC website from 7/31 to 10/6
10/10 - Status on CEAC website changed to Issued for both the 221g Case as well as DS160 case
10/11 - Passport ready for pickup
Will be picking up the passports tomorrow on 10/12 and flying back also tomorrow

Yesterday I went for h1b stamping , interview went well..at the end VO said he need to do some more time do research and will get back to me in 5-7 days .And he kept the passport with him , He dint gave me any slip . Now status is showing as Administrative processing and passport status is " with us consulate". I observed that he put some yellow sticky note on my passport after the interview and write sometime like "FPU".. I am not very sure .
One more thing .. I called US travel help desk this morning..and asked them about the status , they said ur case still is in normal processing , not in admin processing. It may take 2-3 more business days for the update.
Please suggest..What wrong with my case and what should be my point of actions.
Anyone' input will be very much appreciated..

My passport was collected. I was given a blue slip and was not asked any additional document on my interview on 6/6/2017.
When asked what was the issue, they said my application only needed some extra processing time.
There was no update at all. I started following up in email after 60 days, but no reply.
Contacted congressman on 9/28/2017 and got an acknowledgement that he followed up with delhi consulate which overlooks Chennai Consulate.
On 10/10/2017, I got an email from uscis that my visa was ready to be collected.The visa stamping states clearance received on 10/4
