There were few questions asked such as Did you do study in US? Did you work in OPT period ? I answered all correctly.VO & my self were all smiling while talking and in the end he said we will need some internal paper work will need 2 week to return your passport with visa stamp & I have to do nothing but to wait.Since then I have been waiting and hoping for approval.

Attended interview at Mumbai consulate for my L1A stamping with my wife....The VO was a very nice lady who seemed very interested in my background...she asked details about my current job, etc...asked about my previous F1 and also the three business visas I was issued....Asked me what my highest educational qualification was.. I have a Ph.D in Chemical Engg from the US...lived there for five yrs...finally she handed me a green slip and said your case is being subjected to administrative processing...Since I come under the TAL field, I was asked to provide resume, research background, etc....Submitted all docs on the 18th..
After a two month wait, I escalated my case to the consulate...Not sure if it was coincidence or the impact of my email, received an email from the consulate asking me to submit my passport within an hr of my email on the 18th July...submitted PP on the 19th...status was still AP in the CEAC website but with a date update on the 20th...status changed to issued 24 Jul

I have done the dropbox on May 16th and asked to pick up the passport by 23rd. I picked it up on 28th and it had a blue slip asking me to come for interview with all boxes ticked. I was working as FTE in big consulting for 4 years in US and changed to contracting and working in same client for over 2.5 years now under EVC model. Attended interview on June 20th. Consular officer took all my docs and asked me to wait. After 30 mins Indian lady came and asked for one SOW which i didnt had and she went back. After 30 mins CO came out and gave me the Blue slip with "Admin processing" ticked at the bottom. Hoping to get it approved soon....

I was interview by US consular on 27/6/2017 against my visa application no. AA0071IIEY and consular ask that your visa has been approved and collect the passport with in 2-4 days but till date the status is shown in website of CEAC tht your application was under administrative processing and I also not get any slip for additional information. I am a Government servant in Government of Delhi and I obtaining No objection certificate from the department for the purpose. kindly advice me.

Vo asked basic questions. How many kids, highest qualification. Working or not. Where is the spouse.
Then she handover 221g form and asked to submit mentioned document. I am from biotech background.
Submitted cv & answer to some questions on research. She said it will some time and when I asked how much time then she said minimum a month.
Now waiting, it's been 2 weeks but no update on their website.

Got an email today from consulate to submit the passpor and I did it. Now waiting for the stamping to be done. Ofc. said to wait 2-3 days. Waiting to get the stamping done . It took 29 calendar days for me for an update. Tal cases are moving . Good luck for the pending cases.
Jul17: ceae website status updated - "issued". Waiting for the email to collect the passport from Oft
Jul 18: Issued. Got the passport with visa. Thanks once again to all who explained their status. It helps.
