Did not ask me for any additional documents. Just the passport and I797. Gave me back the I797 and kept my passport. Was given the 221g blue slip with just the "Additional administrative processing needs to be done before taking the final decision" check box marked.Told me rescheduling is not necessary and not sure when the final decision will be made. I wasn't contacted after the interview and neither was my employer. Visa status changed to "Issued" on June 12. Passport ready for pickup on the same day.

Haven't received passport back yet.
Came to India to renew F1 Visa, doing PhD after completing MS. Switched University for PhD.
VO asked for CV and publications list, did not have them with me at the time of interview. Got an email subsequently asking for CV, travel history, prof's contact details and invitation letter. I submitted the docs (slightly different format, i submitted my cv in word and pdf, they only asked for word). The next day (13 May) I submitted an invitation letter (because the doc i submitted on 12th was the funding confirmation letter, so asked my prof to write an invitation letter, which he sent to me on 13 May, submitted that to the same email ID). Got confirmation on the first submission (12 May), did not receive any confirmation on the second submission (13 May)

Given White Slip with Additional Admin Processing. No Documents were asked. VO asked me simple questions and answered them as well. She took my LCA and Project Document and returned my Passport as well as i797 with white slip saying AAP has to be done. I am not sure how long it may take. There is no update in CEAC site till date.
Got mail to submit passport on June 13 and submitted next day.

I had family appointment at Vancouver on June 5 2017 at 7:45 AM. I got 221G white slip with no instructions just some information regarding 221G and the reason is w2 and pay stub amount is more than LCA ( around 45000 USD more ). VO collected H1B and H4 passports, H1B I797, all w2, all pay stubs and LCA.

First Status Update : 06/13/2017
Second Status update: 06/14/2017 at 9am. Status changed from Administrative Processing to Issued.
Got passport tracking mail with Waybill number at 12:15 noon on 06/14/2017.
Collected passport on 06/15/2017 at 10am and flying back to USA on 06/15/2017 evening.
Total 9 working days including interview day.
