My petition was approved in 2013 and I couldn't go for stamping due to some problems. Now, I am interested to go US but I don't have latest offer letter from employer. I went interview with old offer letter. I had h1b visa interview at Chennai yesterday(2-2-2015).In my interview near my window lot of noise and sounds are disturbing me . two questions were not understand properly due to noise and I asked the VO "Sorry please repeat". apart from that interview was good. after that called by indian lady and asked same questions and also asked " why you couldnt answer properly with VO oficer". i said about the noice. she took all my docs and returned passport . and gave 221 g with checked "Adminstrative process" option. friends, any idea why i got this?

OFC: 4th Dec 2014 Interview: 5th Dec 2014 Passport, Resume, Offer Letter, and other Documents collected during Interview. Last Status Update: 5th Dec 2014. No Further Update after that. Couple of times follow up through ustraveldocs website. Standard Response within couple hours, which neither gives you any clue nor helps anyone. Anyone knows what's next thing to do? The Status Update Date is updated to 30th Jan 2015. However, no further details. One more Status Update on 02Feb2015. For about 30 mins, the status of "Ready" and after that it changed again to "Administrative Processing". Status changed to Issued on 03Feb2015. Finally, the wait is over....

Hello Friends, Finally a sigh of relief to me. Got my Visa Issued today. Still waiting for email to collect passport. I wish good luck to every one. This forum helped me a lot. Good thing is people started discussing the problem, It really helped me. Here i am presenting my time line. Dec 11 2014 # Submitted docs thru drop box Dec 12 2014 # Visa status date created Dec 19 2014 # Got email to collect documents (I was fooled, assumed Visa was issued) Dec 24 2014 # I saw 221g blue form with my pp, asking me to attend consular interview with out appointmentt. Dec 29 2014 # VI day. He asked my employment place, position, details. He kept my passport and resume (Mine is TAL Case) and issued 221g blue slip again, with no additional docs required. Visa status date changed to Dec 29 2014 again. 30 Jan 2015 # Visa status date change 03 Feb 2015 # Visa status changed to Issued. Lesson I have learnt # Especially for TAL cases, never ever use the research word during interview. Replace it

Asked for resume and gave 221g blue slip. Didnt request any other documents. Got the status changed to "Issued" on Feb 3, 2015

Got Issued Status today.

Hi I had my visa interview for my F1 renwal. I am currently doing my PhD in Molecular Biology. The VO asked me really simple questions like what is your research? Are your folks staying here? Did your courses finish? He then asked for my CV which I didnt have on me right that instant and he then handed me the blue slip asking me to email him my CV, my mentors BIO and my research plan. I already did that on the same day and my status got updated on Jan 20th but still in AP. After that nothing. My school has already started and though every one has been supportive of this whole mess, I have conference to attend on Feb 7th. I m hoping it gets resolved before that and I can still make it there. Case creation date: 1/2/2015 VI: 1/5/2015 First update 1/5/2015 -- AP Second update 1/20/2015 -- AP Third Update : 1/30/2015 -- AP Fourth Update -- 2/2/2015 - Issued docs ready for pick up: 2/2/2015

Hi All, I am also waiting for 221g status update. On Nov 17th attended the interview in chennai consulate. VO asked me about my US company. I told him about the same. Then he asked me to provide client letter and SOW which I provided the same. After verifying it for some time he handed over me blue slip just checking one check box saying administrative processing. They have not taken my i97 or petition document or passport from me. They don't have any document for my case. It's been more than 10 weeks since this happened. Let me know if any one is in same boat as me.

I think mine is TAL, Biotechnology. I will keep you updated if anything solves.

I was given 221g Blue slip today . It has "Your application requires additional administrative processing,before a final decison can be made".
