My I-485 AOS interview canceled by USCIS !
How are you ! All
I have my I-485 Adjustment of Status interview scheduled for Jan 19th 2021. Yesterday I received notification from USCIS field office that my interview has been canceled due to inauguration event (see following notice pasted from USCIS website)
In-Person Services Suspended Jan. 19 and 20
USCIS is temporarily suspending in-person services at all field offices, asylum offices and application support centers on Jan. 19 and 20, to ensure the safety of our employees and for individuals with appointments. USCIS will reschedule individuals who had appointments on Jan. 19 and 20 and send them notices with their new appointment dates.
Once USCIS reopens on Jan 21st, will USCIS prioritize all interviews that were originally scheduled for 19th and 20th ? Can you please share your thought or any similar experience you had? How fast does USCIS reschedule the interview normally ?

Applied for family based Greencard:
i485 + i130 + i765
Priority Date (PD) : Feb 21 , 2020
Biometric scheduled : 3/27/2020
However office closed from 3/24/2020 and so after office opened, my biometrics re-scheduled at 09/01/2020

Hi I was wondering if it’s required to bring to interview the package of the documents filed for adjustment of status. Not the supporting documents. But the actual forms. I can’t find the copy I saved

Question regarding Tax filing,
Does it cause an issue when removing the conditions for a 2 year green card and applying for a 10-year green card that we file our taxes separately ? My step son currently is getting a scholarship based on my wife's income and he would lose it if we add my income. For that purpose we are considering filing taxes separately but wanted to find out if that is going to cause an issue when filing for removal of conditions after 2 years.

RFE after interview
Hello,
Asking if somebody of you had the same situation.
My interview was end of November 2020.I should take the medical exam with me on the interview but I forgot it.One week after the interview I received a RFE for updated medical exam.I sent it 2 days after,and they got it the next day.Since then,nothing change.Even the status is still "Interview was scheduled".
Any experience with this?

I-485 Interview notice not received.
After interview cancellations due to Covid-19 from last year, on 12/15/2020 I finally got an update online that my interview has been scheduled and a notice will be sent, till date my attorney and I have not received any notices and I am worried my interview is around the corner with no idea what the date is, I have tried to called USCIS but there is no way to get past the automated voice. Is anyone also going through this?
