USCIS timeline; FO is Mount Laurel, NJ
I just want to share my journey for my GC. I entered US by having a K-1 visa last Sept. 15,2019 and got married to a USC on Oct. 30, 2019. Me and my husband were in a relationship for more than 12yrs before getting married. He is also in the military.

PD: Dec 02, 2019 ( I-485, I-765, I-131)
Biometrics: Dec 26, 2019
Jan 29, 2020: case is ready to be scheduled
March 02, 2020: I-765 & I-131 EAD card being produced
March 10, 2020: EAD card received
August 16, 2020: interview was scheduled
August 24, 2020: received mail, interview schedule on Sept. 29, 2020
September 29, 2020: interview at 1230H
September 29, 2020: GC being produce

On the day of the interview, we arrived at the USCIS around 12nn then we waited until 1215H to line up at the entrance. There was a long line at the entrance of the building so after entering the security at the door, who will check your letter and id, you will also enter a security check like airport style inside the building. Then you’ll need to line up for photo and fingerprints scan. At around 1240H we were finally seated and waiting for my
Name to be called. Around 1305H an IO (girl) called my name. We entered at her office then she asked us to raise our right hand to swear to tell the truth. After that we were seated and she introduced herself, her name is Heather and she is an ex-US army. The interview went smoothly because my husband and the IO talks about some military stuffs and laughing. She just asked me my name, dob, my current address and some questions on the I-485 form. She asked my husband the same thing and she asked his job. Then she asked some additional documents she scan some documents that she don’t have in her file. Then I gave her our pictures, and she likes it and said it’s cute. I gave her an album of instax films and said she will just scan the pictures because its to cute to get some of them. She just asked how we met and thats it. Then after that she said that she will approve the GC on that same day and justwait for the mail for a couple of weeks.

NJ DMV
Hi guys,
So my license was expired back in February 2020.
NJ DMV lines are humongous, So I paid a guy. Who was standing in line since yesterday evening 7pm, He reserved 8th spot for me.
He handed me the line at 6:30 in the morning today.
They started giving tickets at around 8:20 am..
We were called in at 8:30am today.
Guess what USCIS SAVE system is down.
It is 9:25 and I am still waiting here.

My interview went very well or my answers were accurate. .this is the list of document rental agreement which include all utilities, joint bank accounts, joint taxes filed together, wedding pictures and other events, car insurance, and a land with both names on the indenture we bought in our home country...with all this evidence you still send me RFE to request for more evidence for our marriage.....this is ridiculous

The agent who interviewed me and my husband is the same person who processed my emergency advance parole last September. He was very nice and a Francophile which I'm sure worked in my favour since I have a French passport. He actually introduced himself in French and then swore us in.

After that he asked my husband about his current job and if I had a job myself. He then asked me a bunch of the questions from the General Eligibility and Inadmissibility Grounds (Part 8) of the I-485 form (he read straight from my application). Obviously I answered "no" to all of those questions. He asked if I had any more documents for him, so I gave him our joint bank statements, and phone bill and offered a stack of photos of our relationships and bookings of all the trips we took to visit each other and together. He took the statements and phone bills and ignored the rest. Then he asked a few things about my husband's kids and that was it.

There was a long period of silence, maybe 10 minutes or so while the agent wrote a bunch of things down and typed things into his computer and after that he told us that we'd be receiving two notices in the mail shortly that said that my petition for permanent residency had been approved. He also mentioned that he couldn't give us an exact timeline for how long the card would take to reach me because of COVID related delays in card processing.

He explained that since we'd been married less than 5 years, my GC was approved for 2 years and that in 2 years minus 3 months, I could apply to get the conditions removed from my GC and receive my 10 year green card.

It was a long road to get here, especially with COVID-19, but I'm glad to have made it to this point. If anyone reading this has any questions about the process, what to expect or anything specific to my situation (emergency advance parole, having a spouse who didn't file taxes for the previous 5 years and other things you can read about in my other posts) feel free to reach out. I'm happy to share how I was able to get to this point without hiring a lawyer and the types of proof I did have.

Best of luck to everyone. Try not to stress too much, if your relationship is legit, you have nothing to fear :)

OKLAHOMA: MY ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS INTERVIEW IS COMPLETED AFTER 7 YEARS 8 MONTHS
Priority Date- February 2013
Application Received by USCIS- August 5th 2019
Category- F-1Unmarried Son or Daughter of US Citizen
EAD Received - August 4th 2020
EXPEDITED MY FORM 1-485 ON August 3rd 2020 and got message back from USCIS that interview was scheduled on August 5th 2020.
NOTE: USCIS did not request any evidence from me for my Expedite request because my Priority date had been current for 10 months already and I have been waiting for 7 years 8 months.
Interview Date: September 24, 2020. I was the ONLY person (while I was there) at the Oklahoma City Field office that morning who came for adjustment of status interview. Everyone else was there for Naturalization Interviews or Naturalization Ceremonies. I made a point to ask People while outside and inside what they were there for so that I could provide some perspective to others waiting to hear from the Oklahoma Field Office. I strongly believe they are focusing on Naturalization right now.
Interview Experience: Interview went very smoothly and lasted about 10 minutes.
Case Approved- September 25th 2020.
I wish all the best to those still waiting.

Luisville KY FO
Second week of Sep, I've been scheduled for the i-485 interview (first time scheduling, no cancelation before). However, I never got the interview notice! I saw it in the USPS informed delivery email, but it never got delivered. Following up with USPS was useless, so I called USCIS and asked for duplicate. Fortunately, the 2nd tier officer agreed to send me the notice via email. So, I have it now! The interview date is Oct. 19.
My timeline is:
PD: July 2019
RFIE: Feb 2020 (after 2 SRs for EAD)
Received my response: Mar 2020
EAD approved and mailed: March 2020
Ready to schedule for an interview: March 2020
Scheduled an interview: Sep 2020
