Advance Parole With DACA and Faulty Inspection
Hey guys. I've seen a lot of experiences with Advance Parole with DACA for people that overstayed their visas but has anyone travelled with DACA that arrived here through faulty inspection?

I have not applied for Advance Parole yet but I have had DACA since 2013. DACA was approved without a problem. I just wanted to make sure there are people that have travelled with Advance Parole in the same situation just to be sure.

Thanks

Traveling to a different country
Hello guys! In February I traveled to my home country and made it back safely. No questions asked at customs and I was free to go in less than 5 minutes. Everyone was so nice! My question is if anyone has traveled to a country besides their home country and made it back with no problems. I have AP because of AOS through marriage.

Question
Hello everyone! I am so glad I found this page which keeps me well informed and a forum where I can relate to many people. My question is if anybody can help is if I were to set up an appointment with USCIS to get approved for Advanced Parole would that work or do I have to file an application first? My brother is currently in the hospital form an accident and my family is traveling tomorrow so I will stay behind alone. If anyone can help me out here I would gladly appreciate it.

travel experience went.....GREAT!
Timeline
Paperwork submitted: November 7, 2016
Original dates requested: January 2017 for 30 days
Paperwork received: November 20, 2016
NO PAPERWORK UNTIL:
Approval: February 25, 2017 to October 30, 2017
Travel dates: March 19 to April 10, 2017
Airline: Volaris (direct flight from PDX to GDL)
Paperwork: all filed out by myself.

When I received the approval I cried because I didn’t want to go if it was after the new administration. My husband suggested to talk to an attorney and see what other cases had been. (glad I found this forum, that gave me a lot of courage to go). The attorney said that he hadn’t heard of any changes and that his collegues had clients that were traveling just fine. He did suggest just to go sooner than later.

When we arrived in PDX we decided to be the last of the line, just in case I was the only AP traveler. I had my children with me (all 4 US citizens – minors). They were asked if they traveled to Mexico and they said yes, then the officer asked me if I was paroling in and I answered, correct. He then put my paperwork in a folder and took me to another room where another 15+ where in there. When I was arriving in the room (my children were asked to wait outside, probably because of how many there were?) I saw another AP picking up his paperwork and leaving, so that made me feel good. While I waited I saw a lot of permanent residents were also asked to wait (probably for review) and then I was called. He asked me for……my height, weight, hair color and good phone number to call me on. Sat down again and when called did my fingerprints and sat down again. This took another 10 minutes and when he called me up last time he gave me my paperwork and said you are set to go?

God is in control through all of this. I truly believe that if he had given us permission to travel we should take that opportunity. He knows and has a plan for us, so all we need to do is trust. Something that helped me through this process was this verse.1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Now my final question to anyone, has anyone asked to travel a second time and if so how soon??????

Thanks and Enjoy!

traveling with Advance parole
I travelled with my wife(USC) to my country in Africa with Advance parole (EAD combo).. from march 18th and came back April 12th.. this forum has been helpful so I decided to share my experience.. came in to the country on a B1/B2 visa and got married after my first 6months expired.... and after reading so many experience on this forum I decided to travel with my wife even though a lot of people advice not to travel, but I put my faith in God and from the experience I read on here.. coming back was easy, my wife was with me all through and we went thru the visitor's line.. the officers were really nice to us.. scanned my fingers and also took my pic thereafter I was directed to a secondary screening which took about 10mins to get my passport stamped paroled and was free to Go.. I give God all the Glory cuz he made it possible.

Awaiting approval
My husband has had DACA status since 2014 and applied for advanced parole in mid January. We received the notice that his application was received in February. Now we are just waiting to hear back. Fingers crossed!

We are seeking advice from others who have been approved and have successfully returned after travel by plane. Specificially in regards to Denver/DIA if at all possible. We live in a Denver and, if we get approved, we would fly from Denver to Guadalajara most likely. Some airlines offer nonstop flights both ways. Has any one had an experience with advanced parole at DIA? Where has everyone else passed through customs (I know Houston is a common one)?

Any advice is completely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

AP approved
Hi my husband's AP was approved and he is planing to go in May via car through Tijuana. He is very nervous and is having second thoughts. He has a clean record and has not been into trouble. He is worried because he does have a sleeve of tattoos and is nervous they will think he looks like a criminal. My question for anyone is if anyone has had success stories crossing by car through Tijuana, and what should he be prepared to answer?
