Name changing after Green card
Hello everyone,
I am in the process of receiving my green card. I want to change my last name to my husband's. Do you have any suggestion to where to start? I already contacted the Social Security Office but they told me I have to update with the immigration office first before they can process the request.
Any recommendation would help. Thank you.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I was able to get my passport stamped today at Tampa, Fl office quick and easy and no issues. The officer wasn’t asking me any dumb questions like why do I need it etc. he just looked up my recipt # realized that my 18 months extension is expiring on 11/20 and said yeap here you go! He even didn’t look if my passport was still valid, even though it expires next months.

I have seen something weird in my account while checking it today. Just wonder if anyone has ever faced anything like that. Thank you in advance.
Case was sent on Dec 27th, 2019.
My receipt number is LIN209014xxxx and I have been checking my account almost every day to see any notification. ( last notification was updated on May 13th,2020 as “ fingerprints were added in your account “
And as you know friends, we are checking with our receipt numbers to see if there is any update in our cases but I have seen a second ( also new ) receipt number today in my account starting with LIN209008xxxx.
It says “ card was delivered to me by the post office on May 7,2020.
Anyone has met such a strange thing like that? That is a new receipt number which I have never seen before and if it was sent on May 7th, I have never received anything from USCIS since Jan 2020, 18 months extension letter.

I received RFE for more document one of the questions is
I want to submit a letter from the lender concerning the mortgage loan. In the letter its says my husband won't be able to apply for loan Due to his credit . Can i submit this letter? And do i need to add more documents showing we are in the process to buy a house.
They wrote in the letter that i should not bring any documents that was listed for first submission.I want to ask if i should follow the instruction .

I751 20.5 minimum to 43 months wait for case sent to NBC
Hello everyone,
Just spoke to an agent online today asking about my case which has been sent to NBC.
I explained to her that I applied to I751 Nov 2019 that 9 months later bio were applied (old ones...and yes 9 MONTHS LATER!)
I told her that my case had been transferred right after I applied to N400...She said that it was unrelated (which I doubt) and that the wait for NBC was minimum 20.5 to 43 months!!! This is insane.
Some people got their case processed in 6months...what is going on? Anyone has some hope to give us because at this point I am really starting to think that all this administrative mess will never end...
I checked online and indeed it says the same under "all field office"
I asked her if there was a chance for it to be processed before she said that no and that it was a minimum of 9 months...
My initial office was CA...of course.

Change of Address I751!!
Hi All - I just submitted Change of Address application for my i751 Application. (Moved MD to OH). Do you think i’ll go to the bottom of the queue here in Cleveland or it would still retain my position based my original PD? Also, which center will get my case now, any ideas?

Has anyone gotten their passport stamp lately ? My 18 months extension is expiring in a couple of day. I called the 800 number and they told me that my local office (Atlanta ) will contact me to give me an appointment.
Has that happened to anyone ? I find it a little weird.
I need to renew my license and I have to provide my employer and school with proof of status.
