My IR to CR experience- should I worry?
Feb 2020 - Filed i-751 to remove conditions
02/28/2020 - i-797 received with 18 month extension
03/13/2020 - i-797C received with biometrics appointment
03/31/2020 - biometric scheduled (cancelled due to COVID-19)

I have not heard anything since. I didn't try to reschedule appointment myself because USCIS was going to reschedule for office closures. Should I be concerned about this delay? I applied in Virginia. Thanks for any insights!

I-751 Transfer CSC (California)
Hello everyone, please share any similar experience.
on September 2019 I applied Jointly
on May 2020 finger prints applied (they reused my old ones)
on October 27 (2 days ago) my case was transfer to another USCIS Office, and last night October 28 change again saying that other office has jurisdiction over my case.

I don't know what office yet, it says I have to wait for the notice coming in the mail for more information.

I've seen people here saying that they got transfer after applying for the N-400. but that is not my case, I haven't applied for naturalization yet, any similar situation?

Thanks,

I-751 transfer
Hi guys,

Can you please tell me when does case gets transfer to local office if I have applied for naturalization?

Problem I am facing is I have attended my naturalization interview 2 months ago but my I-751 is still with CSC so there was no decision made on citizenship interview. N-400 interviewing officer mentioned he will request my I-751 case and reschedule me but no updates yet and it has been over 2 months. My I-751 was last updated on 9/30/2020 to show finger print were taken. But nothing about transfer. Please share your feedbacks. Thank you,

N-400 application - Name on Greencard
Let's say my full name is Vikas(first) Vivekchand (Middle) Pande (Last/family). My green card front side has "Vikas V" under my given name, that I think is probably how they put it. Back side has full name as "Vikas<<Vivekchand<<Pande".

Now under the question on Naturalization form under "Immigration Information" - What is your name exactly as it appears on your Permanent Resident Card? - Am I suppose to Give "Vikas" as given (first name) and "V" as Middle name OR put "Vikas V" under given name and leave middle name blank.

All other places I have given "Vikas" as given name, "Vivekchand" as middle name and "Pande" as family name.

I ask as I do not want to get it wrong on such minor detail. I anyway will be submitting the GC copy, but still better to be sure, if anyone knows. (OR if something not worked for somebody)

RFE I-751
My husband and I have received an RFE. They are asking for more proof of citizenship such as birth certificate. This is strange because we submitted a copy of passport as proof. Problem is that my husband has a birth certificate but its not the long form. My husband only has the original birth certificate which is a standard size (he used to obtain passport too); this birth certificate has all information RFE is asking for. Will there be a problem if we submit this birth certificate and it is not the long form?

"Case status changed on my.uscis.gov"
I wish it was changed to card produced, but it NOT!
I have been waiting for 20 month (Texas Center). My case was showing on my.uscis.gov "Case transferred to local office" , now it is changed back to "Case was received" and the transfer to local office simply disappeared . am I going backwards?
On the other USCIS website, it is still showing Case received since forever with the column last updated on 01/17/2020, so it is showing the date of last update, but the status did not change.
Did anyone have an experience with this? And where do you think my file is :( . I tried to understand how USCIS works, but I guess it is a puzzle.

New Card Being Produced
I wanted to update the forum...

02/12/2020 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, were taken.
10/23/2020 We ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC2090032xxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Vermont SC has been busy adjudicating I751 cases filed in December 19/January 20 timeframe. I was keeping up to date using the USCIS app. They do not strictly process them in case number order but the app was very helpful so I was not surprised to get my notice.

Time is a little less than 10 mos, which is less than the filing time estimated show on USCIC website.

NO lawyer used and large age difference.
