Carrying the Receipt Notice/ Biometrics
Hello again, all. A followup question just to see if I can get any more responses on my Biometrics query, and a new question—

I do hope and believe that previous biometrics will be applied in my husband’s case, but I am a little paranoid due to our unfortunately poor mail service (my passport was once delivered to the wrong address). Has anyone ever heard of a Biometrics appointment (or Interview, for that matter) being scheduled and the Petitioner & Spouse never getting the word via the US Mail, nor any text or email, nor any Case Status Update that specifically says we scheduled a Biometrics etc (as opposed to “follow the instructions in that mailing” etc etc? Waiting is one thing; not having confidence you will receive the mailings (nor email, text or other notification)

Second, new, question: Husband plans to have the recently-received I-751 Receipt Letter in his wallet next to green card at the time of expiry of green card (Nov 29, 2020). Should he be carrying it sooner than that? (Crazy to have to carry such and don’t want to ‘destroy it’/ overwear it, per se, prematurely .

I751 transferred from my current service centre SRC to different office.
I applied for ROC PD 04/28/2020 and today I got an update that my case has been transferred to a new office.

Did anyone in here got the same update and got further updates after that? like interview scheduled or approval?

TIA

Nebraska & RFE
Even though I have RFE coming in the mail, I am not bothered as much as I was the day I got the email notification.

A quick 500 search shows that Nebraska give more RFE than approval.

Notwithstanding having two kids, 8 years and 5 years with my wife and they know that.

I-751 Approved - No interview
Hi - Just want to share my timeline for ROC. 2 yrs conditional GC expiring Apr 30,2020

2/4/2020: We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
5/7/2020 - The fingerprints relating to your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, were taken
08/17/2020 - RFE (missed signature on Petitioner) I mistakenly provided US Citizen signature (spouse). Petitioner should be the conditional resident.
8/28/2020 - Sent a whole new I-751 form with corrected signature on the Petitioner field.
9/01/2020 - We received your response to RFE
09/22/2020 - We ordered your new card.
09/24/2020 - We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
9/25/2020 - We mailed your new card your Form I-751
9/28/2020 - Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service
9/29/2020 - 10 yr GC arrived in mail

Next move: Citizenship application January next year. (3 mos prior to the 3rd year anniversary of the original date on conditional GC)

Just stick to it and trust the process. I know it is a very stressful and tad long process. But try to calm our minds that everything will be going fine and you will attract it.
Let me know if you have any questions.

USCIS account for I-751
Hello friends,
I have online account for both I-751 and N-400 with USCIS. But my I -751 doesn’t show any update. It still shows we received your case. In fact I done biometric and my case got transferred as well. But these all shows on check status online but not on the account with ID and PW. Do anyone know how can I refresh my case on uscis online account ?

INTERVIEW FOR I-751
I submitted my I 751 in November 2018 and did my biometrics in July 2019. My case was transferred from Nebraska to Lee Sumit on July 24 this year in which my case status was updated. I later received another update that my case has been transferred to my local office. I now have I- 751 interview slated for October at my Uscis local field office. I filled jointly with my wife and I did not receive any any reference for additional information.
Is there anyone who has attended I 751 interview?
What are the likely questions asked? Also what kind of documents were requested for at the interview?
I will appreciate shearing your experience, contributions and advice to guide me in my interview.
Thank you.
