18 months extension expiring in 2 months
Does anyone have any idea how to get their i751 receipt notice extension?
My situation is that my passport expires 12/9/2020 and my 18 months extension expires 11/26/2020. How am I supposed to get my I551 stamp now? I did apply to renew my passport but the embassy said it will take 3 months so obviously I won’t have my passport before 11/26. What should I do now? And what should I present to my employer as a proof of LPR ? And yes my employer will ask, HR already reached out to me.

I-751 experience - Case Approved
Hey Guys,
Updating I-751 experience.

05/19/20 - Application Received by USCIS (Texas service center)
Notice of action (hard copy receipt) was received almost after 60 days as I explained in earlier post.
08/10/20 - Finger prints applied (no appointment)
09/17/20 - New Card is being produced
09/21/20 - Case was approved

Waiting for Card to arrive, hopefully soon. Looks like Texas service center is moving swiftly. Good luck everyone.

I-751 waiting
Hi everyone,
I have been waiting for almost 18 months now and my marriage is not going to well.... we have been thinking about getting a divorce.
I filled I-751 together with my husband, but things have changed between us since he decided to start seeing other people. I contacted an immigration lawyer and he told me that getting divorce was the best option because if we have a interview the connection is not going to be there. Also, he said that he can switch the case to "i-751 waiver "
The case has been ready for interview more than 60 days already and I am scared that while the divorce is processing we get an interview day... are there any chances that they are going to denied my case for getting divorce at this point ? we have been married for 4 years and 8 months.

18 Months extension expiring soon
Hi everyone,
Has anyone know what happens after your 18 months extension letter expires?
Would USCIS send another extension letter?

Also, what's the case if I already applied for N-400 while waiting for my I-751 approval? would I still get the letter?

Thank you,

Receipt of I-751; question on Biometrics
Hello all— wow, so glad to have found this site, as so many comments have been useful and inspiring hope for a potentially easier experience. Husband (immigrant) and myself have a super strong valid marriage with plenty of documentation as well as fantastic character references with his self employment biz as well. We submitted I-751 Aug 31... Received Receipt notice about a week later. No biometrics schedule following just on heels, though, like the first time around with the actual green card itself. My hope is that they use his biometrics from before, as I was heartened to see in discussions here that indeed has happened with some folks. Question is: If that is the case, will they send notice of that? (That biometrics from before will be applied) About how long is reasonable to wait without an attempt at an inquiry? I get text messages and look up stuff on CASE STATUS page of USCIS— will they send/ post a need to schedule (or not) via those means, I wonder? I am concerned 1) that the US Postal Service which I support, unfortunately may mangle getting any official mailed notice of any kind to me as they once delivered my passport to wrong address, and 2) that USCIS may just try to email my husband instead, since they asked for Petitioner’s email this time, in addition to mine. Any feedback is helpful. I suppose I might call USCIS as have been helpful, actually, this past year... but I am not sure they can specifically answer to our case needing/ not needing biometrics as per the official determination, or even as to whether we will get a text telling us the scheduled time (or not needed at all). Thanks in advance ~
