Biometrics with no update
i want to ask . i did biometrics for i-751 over a month now with no update that says fingerprint is completed like every other people here. Online status still says CASE WAS RECEIVED, even with biometrics done over 1 month now with no update. Does this mean my case will be longer than those people that had their biometrics updated a day or 2 after they had it ? I am really worried and concerns on why biometrics would not get updated.
thanks

Vermont Transfer
seems like most of Vermont applicants from 2019's first half of the year have been transferred to Potomac. from what i gathered it takes Potomac 3 months to adjudicate if transferred from another SC.

1751 case update
Boston filier
I filed my 1751 form back in May 2019
Fingerprints updated in June 2019
Field office Vermont

I received an update yesterday telling me that my case was transferred to another office for faster processing and I will receive a letter in the mail with further information. Then I received another update saying that my case was received at my local office.

What local office are they referring to? Will this delay my case?

Case transfer
I checked online status saying they transferred my case to another office. It does not say to another service center. Does it mean that they transferred my case to local USCIS office?
Looking forward to a reply

I-751 with waiver timeline
Hi everyone,

I want to share my timeline in case anyone is going through a similar process. I was nervous because I got a divorce 4 months before I filed to remove my conditions. My I-751 was unexpectedly approved today yay. So don't be discouraged if you are going through this despite a divorce.

2/8/2019 Case received at Texas Service Center
11/8/2019 Biometric Appointment
12/10/2019 Service Center Transfer from Texas to Potomac
2/19/2020 New Card being produced

I did not expect for it to be approved this "fast" (well pretty much 1 year) since the official processing time is 15-19 months, but it looks like Potomac Service Center is on top of their game right now. I also had no interview or anything. However, I was very detailed in my application. On top of the required evidence, I submitted a ton of pictures (almost like a photo book with descriptions and everything), wedding invitation and letters from my ex-husband, ex-mother-in-law and a friend. The more the better :).

Good luck everyone!!!

Form I-751 approval timeline
Hello folks,

I decided to share my timeline because this whole process is very stressful, deterring and I know there’s a lot of people out there waiting and waiting so here we go:

Category: CR 6
Service center: California
Case received: 12/14/2018
First update: 12/27/2018 (fees were waived)
Fingerprints: 5/1/2019 (taken at USCIS office)
Second Update: 5/2/2019 (Case was updated to show all fingerprints were taken and case is in process)
Third Update: 2/14/2020 (New card is being produced)

My entire process took exact 14 months.
Documents submitted: Bank accounts (checking & savings), car insurances, copy of both driver licenses, copy of card registration, pictures (10-15 pics submitted), water bills, 2 year copy of federal taxes, 2 year lease agreements, 1 vehicle purchase paperwork with both names on dealership loan.

I did not receive any RFE letter nor any other document. Finally after 14 months the wait is over.

I wish you all strength and patience. Cheers!!!
