This waiting
So next week it will be 30 days since I raised a SR, so I'll call and ask them what is going on with my case. Does someone has the number to call and was it 1,1,2,2 you're supposed to push to come to a representative?

Anyone had any luck when they actually call and not just chat through Emma? I don't know if I can take another "just wait" answer. Any tip on what to ask and say?

Case received December 31st, last update January 2nd fingerprint fee was received. Since then nothing 😬

T1 Service Request
Day 190, no EAD.

I called USCIS yesterday to let them know that I have not received a response to my SR that was completed on 8/22/19. The operator was very nice and she was also surprised that I did not receive an email with a response to the SR. She asked me if I wanted her to open a new SR under a "different category" (so that I don't have to wait the 30 days). I said yes, and she created a new service request.

Following the call I checked my online account and saw a new entry saying the following:

"As of August 27, 2019, your Other - Tier 1, referral number T1***MSC, is currently not assigned for processing."

Unlike my previous SR, the referral number for this one starts with "T1". Does anyone have experience with T1 service requests?

Waiting
Had an RFE on the 19th July, resounded on the 31st July and since have had nothing. I have an SR and ER as I’m genuinely broke, I need to work and have two job offers.

RD 02/07/19 Marriage based

I just think this is inhuman, you can’t live while they do this. It’s so painful just waiting and waiting. I can’t take much more, as I need to provide for my pregnant wife who’s a USC.

EAD Update
Finally we have gotten an update on our EAD case. Status changed to "Request for Additional Info Received" and has been assigned to an officer 08/27/2019. I have seen so many people says thier expedite req was denied and then some saying it worked. Hoping for the best!!!

aos renewal?
Hi all. I'm going crazy over here waiting for my EAD. PD March 4, marriage based AOS. Raised SR / ER almost a month ago and no news. Zero movement on my case.

I have a question: I previously held an EAD as I was doing OPT with my F1. Then, while my EAD was still valid, I filed for AOS. My OPT EAD expired late May and I haven't been able to work since.

Now, my attorney told me that I couldn't "extend" my EAD while I changed status, unlike what happens when you change from an F1 to, say, and H1B where you can still work even though your EAD has expired and until you receive your H1B.

My question is: is this true? Or could I have been working all this time? (I have reasons to doubt what my lawyer told me).

Thanks for your input!

Expedite Delay
I assuming expediting the case is delaying the case even further and anyways they are denying the expedite request.
