Hello everyone,
I keep reading about people expediting their ead/parole card. Some of you mention financial hardship etc. how can we say we have financial hardship or that I have a job letter etc? I thought with the affidavit of support, was supposed to prove that i didn’t have to work? It feels redundant that we sent financial affidavits and then going to ask for expedited because of financial hardship..?
How can I ask them to expedite it? My wife works full time, but I’d like to be able to start working again soon and I need to travel outside country may 2020.

Contacted USCIC on 27/8 to follow up on SR request, spoke with a Tier 2 officer and was informed that my case is under review and the delay in processing is due to the backlog at the time of filing. Was advised to check again in September if there is no response.
Was also informed that my I485 was sent to Manhattan instead of Florida and is now being returned to NBC.
Seems like the wait is still not over even though I protested that my case was 5 months beyond normal processing time.

Green card interview
I just had my interview . It went fine the lady was super nice , she asked for my original birth certificate. But I came with photocopy . She did not give me any paper and said I will get a letter in the mail If she needs anything or I will get her decision in the mail .im very nervous.some lady stoped me and asked if I got white paper .im confused . what do you think guys ?? Any one has such experience??

Submitted SR on 8/18, as the date on the processing times finally reached 3/19/19...then the processing times went backwards to 3/12/19...figured it was going to be at least a few weeks before we heard anything on the SR and definitely didn't expect to get the card produced before there was an update on the SR...
Universe aligned this morning at 6:00AM (maybe a weird detail to include but I was always curious what time of day we would actually have a case update)
8/27/2019 - Card being produced (cheers and sighs of relief all around)
Question #1: How long did it take for you to get your card once the notification of it being produced came through? The notification said give it at least 30 days but I believe I've seen time frames of a week or so on here.
Question#2: When and how did you receive the tracking information for your card? Did they send it to you via email, post it on your account under the case?
Question#3: What is the carrier for the card? USPS, UPS or Fedex?

Econ’s letter was to tell me that they will be able to use my fingerprints already on file and no need to go in for bio appointment.
Third one was my actual receipt for I-765, I grabbed the letter my old EAD card and expired DL to DMV and they renew my license for up to 6 months.
Yesterday I got a notification that my card is being produced and soon will be shipped out. So far it has been 3 weeks and change for EAD renewal.

Has anyone gotten a rfe for i864, it says my petitioner did not make the 125% above poverty guideline. He made above that this year but he did not last year. I attached his offer letter and paystubs for the last 6 months but I guess they still based their decision on his last year's tax return which is below the guideline.
What can I do so they accept his current income or will I need a joint sponsor?

Anyone else still waiting and waiting and waiting? Marriage based NBC december 31st. Last time I had any update whatsoever was january 2nd. Biometrics done february 14. Raised a SR july 31st. Still not assigned to anyone.
I've asked my lawyers a couple of months ago if it would help to have a company wanting to hire you, which I had, but she said no.
This is taking it's toll on me, especially seeing people filing way after me already getting theirs. I'm slowly breaking down mentally, trying to stay busy with working out. Can't drive. My birth control refill was CRAZY expensive since I can't be on my husbands health insurance without a SS, I started laughing and crying while paying. Hah.
Well. They have this week to, then it's been 30 days since SR was done. After that? I'm not even expecting anything.... But I'll call and ask what the heck is going on.
