I sent the aplication in December 2018.
January 23 was the latest update I got which was that they received my fingerprint.
I checked before and the wait time was 4.5 to 6 months
Now its 5 to 7 months.
My friend also applied for his in December and he got his 2 weeks ago.
Why is it taking this long?

Anyone submitted a Case Inquiry before? The "Receipt date for a case inquiry" just hit October 10, 2018 today, it means I can only submit a case inquiry today -.-"

I received USCIS request additional evidence mail today,
they said my 2 photos blurry,
but I just used that to renewal my VISA, my visa with these photo no problem,
I am very confuse now. I do not know how can I improve my photo,
just take photo in Costco.

Hello everyone. I have been a silent reader of this page. In fact, I even check this page before I check my case before there is more chance that they will be something happening here than if I check my case 😂. I am laughing but I’m so tired of this wait. The worst part is that it’s just the beginning for me. I have been waiting only for 3 months. It’s a lot but can I complain when I see that some people have been waiting since last year ? It is crazy but we got this y’all, we gonna make it 🙏🏾.

USPS lost my card
4 march 2019 USCIS accepted the application
24 april 2019 new card was produced
25 april 2019 approved ur application
29 april 2019 card mailed to me
30 april 2019 card picked by USPS for delivery.
sequence of events I am not able to understand. I got a tracking number and 1 may 2019 I checked the tracking number with USPS they said they delivered the Card.
I didn't received the card yet.
I raised a service request with USCIS they are doing anything. Chasing USPS guys. they are not doing anything.

Well, today marks 200 days without updates. Suddenly, I'm finding myself hopeless, tired, annoyed, angry. I guess my case is not as extreme as others I've read here, my husband is working, and thanks to the universe we don't have to worry about our rent or food. But still, I'm extremely anxious and tired of waiting. I've tried to talk with him, my family and friends, but their motivational speeches are getting old. I don't know if I'm exaggerating, but they don't seem to understand how cruel and exhausting is to have another, ANOTHER, week gone without any type of news. All they say is "enjoy your free time while it lasts!" "read a book!" "walk a bit, you are in NYC" "learn new skills!"... And I mean, that's what I've been doing since I arrived to this city, I did a masters, I got out of my comfort zone, I learned about gardening, I've painted a couple of óleos, I created a awesome web page with my portfolio, I've never been so consistent gym wise as I am right now, I'm reading fiction, I'm reading about business strategy... But, I've achieved a point in where I don't want to continue thinking about "what else should I start doing so I can invest my time wisely while I wait"
Why am I feeling so annoyed and depressed if apparently I've got everything I need? It's such a horrible feeling. What is this pressure that society puts on our minds that makes us feel that if we don't work we are damaging our chances of being successful in whatever we want to with our life?
