Finger print review completed
Hi All,

RD: 02/27/2019
EB1C priority date: 01/20/2010
Finger print done date: 3/29/19

The status for I-485 and I-765 only for me and not my family changed to Finger print review completed the very same day I finished my finger printing.

What does this status mean?

Any idea when I will receive EAD for me and my wife?

Thanks
Amogh

EAD Expedited - does it work?
Hey guys.

I wrote on here last week about my EAD taking forever to be mailed after approval. And I’m still here waiting for it. In the meantime I got a job offer yay I really can’t pass.

Did any of you try to expedite the process with a job offer? How do you do that? Did that help at all?

Wishing you all the best of luck. The struggle is real!

Expedite
So my RD is Nov 7, 2018, I had it expedited and I received a response on April 13 that the USCIS received my expedite request. I called them today to ask an update for the adjudication of my expedite and the call center representative told they'll give me a decision shortly. For people who had theirs expedited, how long before you received a decision from the USCIS? I want to know how long "shortly" really means. 'Cause with the USCIS, you just never know. Been waiting more than 160 days now.

Still no EAD
I am a US Citizen who filed on behalf of my South African wife, and no movement since it was received.

All documents received Nov 16, 2018.

I-485 - Case was received 11/16/2018
I-130 - Case was received 11/16/2018
I-131 - Case was received 11/16/2018
I-765 - Case was received 11/16/2018

Biometrics was done December 2018. I-765 in in c9 classification.

Her EAD is being processed at NBC, it has now been 152 days, nothing, nadda. I am working two jobs, two incomes, but she wants to get to work.

Anyone with insight, or similar experience please share.

Any "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview" in Baltimore?
Is there anybody from Baltimore local office with I-485 status of "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"? If yes, please right your I-485 RD and the date that your status changed to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview".

My RD is Oct 01, 2018 and it became as "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview" on Mar 22, 2019.

I solicit your help to understand what the timeline of having "Interview is scheduled" is for Baltimore local office, hopefully! I really appreciate your inputs!

Meaning of "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"
Can anybody help me to understand what "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview" really mean (in practice)? The only meaning is that there will be no before-interview RFE, right? In terms of timeline for scheduling an interview appointment, there is no new information right? Still it can be months to years, right?

NSC EAD renewal experience
Nebraska Service Center
EAD 1st renewal
Receipt date I-131/I-765 11/16/18
I-485 AOS

Could others please share?

152 days and still waiting - I really just don't understand this, the documents last for one year and it takes half a year to renew or something. I know the 6 month auto extension but in reality the documents only lasts for 6months and you have to renew again. Mine has just passed the inquiry date so will be inquiring today.

I-765 Received by USCIS 14-Dec-19, no EAD for at least another 3-9 months
We filed for me to become a Lawful Permanent Resident (AKA Green Card) through my husband who just became a citizen 03-Dec-18.

The USCIS receipt date on each of the I79-C documents is 14-Dec-18.

Biometrics appointment was 7-Jan-19, which I attended and completed the necessary scans and imaging.

We had an InfoPass appointment at our local USCIS Field Office last week (04/11/19), and the Representative looked at our case and said it would take up to another nine months before I would receive my EAD.

I find that USCIS has no integrity. Their core values include Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Vigilance.

I don't see how forcing humans into a form of incarceration as being Respectful. As a government department which runs solely from fees collected, how can they proudly publish their daily achievement, where millions of humans are subject to the anxiety surrounding the uncertainty of their futures. This 'waiting' affects their sponsors, children, parents, and friends who all worry about their loved one who has finally begun the process of becoming a Citizen, sometimes after decades of waiting, to only be put in a position where they can't work (or in my case I had to resign), they lose their driver's license, they have no document proving their legal presence and they provide estimates on processing times, without forecasting growth.

Considering that USCIS is funded by fees paid by sponsors, and these fees have increased significantly faster than inflation, why are processing times taking longer.
