My timeline
I'm from Phoenix, AZ. I'm in H1b, wife is in H4. My H1B 6th year will be completed this November.
Aug 29th 2018: Applications sent to National Benefits Center
Aug 31st 2018: I-485, I-131 and I-765 received by USCIS for me and spouse
Oct 5th 2018: Biometrics done for me and spouse
Since then, case status tool is stuck at "Fingerprint Review Was Completed"
One of my friend with similar timeline got his EAD in 2 weeks after biometrics, gave interview in 2 months already received his GC on Dec. My wife has been depressed since as we are waiting for EAD so that she can work. This whole thing is wrecking havoc in my marriage.
According to https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ , I'm still not outside the processing time, so I guess I cannot raise case inquiry yet. I recently talked with my lawyer and he said - "Please do not contact the USCIS regarding your pending applications as this can negatively impact the applications; you applications are still within the USCIS posed processing times so we must be patient and let them take the normal course."
Feeling so helpless.

PD September 15th
Biometrics - October 5th
January 25th my 485 got updated to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"
January 31st my 485 got updated again to "Interview was scheduled"
Up until this point my EAD was still stuck on "Case was received"
I got my interview notice a week ago and in fact got I got an interview before my EAD.
Yesterday however my EAD went from "Case was received" to "Card being produced"
I hope it gets here before my interview.

question on EAD expedite request
Can someone explain this. After we place an expedite request and we get an email asking to send supporting documents, does this mean our expedite request is actually assigned to an officer and its the officer who sends the email to send the supporting documents
or its like we first get an email to send the supporting documents and after we send the documents then its sent to some officer to look into it

Card was delivered but never got me
Hi everyone!
Has anyone had any issues on EAD where usps says delivered but you never received the EAD? Uscis website says it’s delivered and also the usps website but I haven’t see any mail.
Any info would be great!

E3D visa related EAD - status update to "name was changed"
Hi so happy to have found this forum.
Long story short - we are here on E3 visa and I am on spouse visa (E3D). We renewed our visa in 2018/5 and received an RFE on 2018/11 (yes 6 months to receive a f*ing RFE). Lawyer suggested us to go for a new visa run outside the US. We did it and now I need to get a new EAD because I have a new E3D visa.
- Filed my 2nd EAD application on 1/15/2019 (I included my previous EAD approval letter, hoping it would help)
- Case status changed on 1/22/2019 that "your name was change"
- No update since then
My question is - even though this is a new EAD, but I have had a record before, will it likely to be any fast?
I had to relocate to Toronto because I can't work in the US, i have no idea how long i will have to stay in Toronto and be away from my family. It is so devasdating.
