I talked to Second level officer today .. and she told me that my case is under the examination for an officer .. or under security check ? Does anyone knows how long does that take ? .. it's been 97 days since I filed ... still case was received

after they send it do they give us a post office tracking # or anything??
i will sleep on the doorsteps so not to miss the postman anyway once it's updated to card is mailed....lol

Is it really worth providing job offer?

I have seen a few people having a job offer and trying to use it for get their EAD card expediated.

I have been waiting for 125 days already since filing I765 & I130/485i
Hello everybody,
I have been reading a lot about everybody's experience and I feel more and more frustrating since I have been waiting for my EAD card for already 125 days since I filed for it.
I have a lawyer who never recommended me or told me about contacting congressman or even spoke me about job offer that could hep for the EAD...
My lawyer said the processing times is between 4-6months after biometric appointment.

Biometrics: 05/18/17
WAIT
1st SR: 08/02/17 (+110 days)
No news even since. I am by the way filing from New Jersey. Does any of you have similar experience?

07/28/2017 - Service Request Created (Day 92)
08/07/2017 - Received a response for service request (generic response - didn't help)
08/10/2017 - Info pass appointment at local office. Found out that application was waiting on biometrics. Did the biometrics the same day.
08/14/2017 - Got an email with case status "Card/ Document Production" (Day 109)

I received a job offer, starting 8/16/2017 so I went straight to congressman without any service request.
5/15/2017, case was received.
8/2/2017, congressman submitted my job offer
8/7/2017, congressman emailed me that my case is being routed for expedite processing.
No updates or anything.
8/10/2017, created service request due to a financial loss (pending job offer)
8/14/2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1E222170 YYYY MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
8/14/2017, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1E222170 YYYY MSC.
8/14/2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1E222170 YYYY MSC, was completed.
I was never contacted to fax any documents but congressman has already sent it before I created service request. Are there different officers working on my case?
Do you guys know what is going on with my case?
What is the possibility of them mailing me for supporting documents when congressman has already faxed my job offer letter to USCIS?
Please share your experience with me. Basically I am screwed. No EAD card in hand and work starts tomorrow.

7/17/2017: SR request - Case is in line to be reviewed call back after 60 days
8/3/2017: Called to expedite case
8/14/2017: Filled out a privacy form to the Senator for an assistance regarding this issue.
It has been 124 days and nothing has happened. I have a job offer that starts on 21th of August and they won't let me start because they are not sure if my EAD card would be in production 180 days after my card expired. What is happening...

Hi all,
I've requested an EAD expedite on 7/20, and sent them everything they need on 7/27. However still havent heard back from them. How long does it take to expedite EAD? I'm nervous because I have a pending offer.
On 8/10, I received the following: Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.
How long does this mean? what should I do now?
