I140 Approved
I-765, I131, I-485 Filled and rejected due to missing I140
I-765,I-131, I-485 filled and received July 25, 2017
I-131, & I-765 Name was updated, then cased approved, finally new card being produced October 16, 2017
I-765 changed to Card being mailed on October 19, 2017
Combo cad received October 23, 2017
I-485 case has being transfer to another office October 17, 2017
I-485 copy letter received that indicates that case has being transfer to NBC on October 17, 2017

There is no processing times on website for I-485 adjustment of status based on employment, please see website

Does anyone has any similar experience please share.

Also, I am currently on F-1 status becasue my OPT time finished. If I received my employment authorization card, Do I have to maintain my F-1 status? Please reply!

• USCIS received it on Mar28th.2016
• Got my EAD card in Apr.2017, and its expiration date is in Apr.2017.
• Biometric was done on Apr28th.2016
• 1st inquiry by attorney in Nov.2016
• Got the email from USCIS in Dec.2016
• Asked my constituency congressman help in Jan.2017
• The Congressman office send an inquiry to USCIS in Jan.2017
• USCIS replied to the congressman office that they need 30-45 days background check.
• 2nd inquiry by attorney in Feb.2017
• Renew my EAD on Feb.28th.2017.
• USCIS was received on Mar.10th.2017.
• Email to congressman, requested a help in Mar.2017.
• USCIS replied the email on Mar.10th.2017.
• 3rd inquiry by attorney in Apr.2017
• 4th inquiry by attorney in Jun.2017
• 2nd Biometric in Aug.2017
• 5th inquiry by attorney in Aug.2017
• Requested an Ombudsman help in Sep.2017
• RFE received (retake a medical report and J-form) on Sep.19th.2017
• Submitted RFE on Oct.2nd.2017
• Responded to USCIS received on Oct.6th.2017
• USCIS’S website showed “respond to uscis received” on Oct.10th .2017
• Website showed my case was approved on Oct.16th.2017
• Got the approval letter on Oct.19th.2017
• Got the welcome letter on Oct.21.2017
• Got the card on Oct.23rd.2017

Finally, my case was approved and got the card in my hand.

Hi All,

My company filed for my I-485 in November, 2016. However, my status has not changed since then and I have not received my GC yet. Unfortunately, my company is going out of business soon and I need to consider switching job. I understand that my application will not have to start over since it has passed more than 180 days on I-485. However, would switching job at this point delay my GC? Do you guys have any suggestions/comments/experience to share ? I highly appreciate that.

Here is my update. PD: March 1, 2017

I-140 EB2-NIW submitted to TSC on March 1, 2017
I-140 Approved on June 16
I-485, I-765, I-131 submitted on July 26
Biometrics done on August 16
Case transferred to NBC on September 19

However, on October 16 I received a notice about Missing Supplement J. I spoke with my attorney and this is indeed a mistake, as eb1a and eb2niw do not require an offer of employment and, therefore, I was not supposed to submit Supplement J.

Now the interview is imminent and I will have to explain it to the immigration officer.

Just wanted to give you guys an update.

This what I posted back in July.
EB2 NSC- ROW
I140 Normal processing - received by NSC 11/02/2016.
I485/I765/I131 filed concurrently - received by NSC 11/02/2016.
Combo EAD/AP card issued 12/07/2016 - received 12/13/2016.

I-140 approved 06/07/2017 -received on 06/12/2017.

Now for the update:

10/02/2017: received RFE for missing gono test and request to submit new translation for my birth certificate. I did complete physical again coz old one about to expire; did new translation.
Mailed back to them on 10/10/2017 and they received on 10/10/2017.

I just checked and by the Grace of God, it says New card is being produced: 10/18/2017.

After months having no movement on my application. I finally got this " Card/Document Production" update. Yeah, can't wait to have my green card in the mail! This website helped me to get a better understanding about this whole lengthy green card process. I hope my info will help someone else. All the best!
