RFE on I-485
I have received an RFE on I-485 for test for gonorrhea. I checked with the doctor and she said she got the notification for this test after one week I did the test last year in August. She is ready to do the test again but my concern is medical examinations will soon be expiring (the medical examinations have a validity period of one year). And given visa retrogression, my medical examinations will be expired by the time that visas become available, and my application will be ultimately ready for adjudication. Even though my PD is Dec08th 2016, will the retrogression impact me?

Even if I respond to the current RFE, will I receive future RFEs for complete, new medical exams. Should I continue with this single test and send the response to USCIS or should I do complete medical test again?

EAD - TEXAS Center - Processing Times
Hello Everybody,

TSC - Texas Service Center
I-140 is already approved by NSC on April 8th

Here is my Timeline:
- Package I485/I765 sent on march 31th 2017
- Package received on march 2nd 2017
- Receipt mailed FROM USCIS April 18th 2017
- Receipts received on 4/26 2017
- Biometrics appointment notice received on 4/28/17
- Biometrics appointent on 5/11/17

It's been 3 weeks after the biometrics and almost 2 months since it was submitted.
I am planning on raising a SR at 75 days if I have no news.

Any idea of how long the EAD would be approved and sent? Anybody with a similar timeline with TSC waiting for his EAD?

Thank you

EB2 i-485 RFE review passed 90 days..
My response to RFE was accepted on February 17, 2017. As of now still haven't heard anything back.

Meaning USCIS is reviewing RFE for over 90 days now..And my i-485 is pending since July, 16.

has anyone gone through the similar experience?

the wait is extremely intense...

Got laid off - Pending I-485 less than 180 days : Please help
Below is the details of my case :
H1-B - Got laid off
I-140 - Approved
EAD/AP - Approved
I-485 - Pending for 119 days
Employer will not revoke approved I-140
Service Center : Nebraska,
Received Date: 29 Jan 2017
Priority Date : Current (Rest of the world)
Got offer but employee will not do H1-B transfer. Planning to use EAD for employment.
Since my I-485 has been pending for less than 180 days, I am not eligible for AC21.
How risky is this ? What is the chance of case getting approved without USCIS knowing about my switching job.
I really appreciate if you guys share me your experience and knowledge.

PLEASE HELP. It's quite urgent.
I think I made a mistake on one of the yes/no questions my I-485. To the question "have you ever been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined, or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law or ordinance," I answered "No" because I had not been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined, or imprisoned, but I came to remember that years ago I had been "ticketed" and possibly charged for selling liquor without a license. (I used to own a restaurant and my server served liquor to an undercover police officer.) I always remembered it as my server's fault and thought it was a non-issue. In addition, the whole incident was caused by a misunderstanding (*I did have my liquor license*) and the case was dismissed very early on (I did not have to pay fines or anything). I had a meeting with the DA before I was scheduled to appear in court, and they told me that they would dismiss the case, which they did.

How can I correct this mistake? Can I correct it at the interview by bringing additional supporting evidence and laying them on the table? My interview is only one week away. I have already obtained my certified court record to show that the case was closed at management conference and dismissed. I can't sleep because of this. I would greatly appreciate your advice in this matter. Please. Anyone?

Here are some updates -

Filed both I-140 and I-485 concurrently on Dec 22, 2016 (Received EAD and AP on February 2nd week)
Was waiting for the I-140 ... I just got the approval notice for I-140 from my attorney, it seems the I-140 form approved on May 15, 2016. Please note that, the USCIS website still shows that my I-140 has been received, it seems they did not update the website.

Now waiting for the I-485 ... hope to get it soon.

Regards,
