Need Help on H4 Stamping without Pay Slips
Hi,

I would highly appericiate if someone can help me about H4 stamping in Chennai Consulate.

I recently came to the states a week before in H1 visa which I stamped in Nov 2006 and my employment and SSN are under processing. I wanted to do H4 for my wife ASAP. Can I apply H4 for my wife without my Payslips.
If not how many pay slips are exactly required for H4 visa.

If anyone have the same experiance kindly share with me.

Thanks,
Sundar

Need help regarding H4 stamping after 221(g)
Dear friends,

Me & my wife appeared for H1 & H4 at the same time. I got 221(g) and now my wife has travelled to another country. Does she need to be present personally for H4 stamping or is it acceptable if I carry her passport?

Look forward to know your opinions/advise.

Thanks for help,
Sampat

Reg Passport
Recently i got 221(g) and there was nothing written on the form about the passport(Whether i have to send passport or not). When i contact to vfs they told that we have to send passport.

Some of my friends told if we drop the passport(even though if there is not written on the blue form) they will send another 221(g) stating that your case is under AAP.

So please seniors help me whether i should go according to vfs or my friends advice who got the same similar experience.

Thanks to all people.

Is it possible to apply H1 again?
Hello Friends,

I applied h1 in 2007, i got 221g (blue slip) stating

Application Processing Information
The petition is being returned to USCIS for further review. Upon completion of review, USCIS will contact your petitioner. Please wait for a notification from the consulate before returning.

Now my questions is
1) How long it will take to complete my processing.
2) Is it possible to apply H1 again this year.
3) Few of my friends said, I can apply for B1 or L1 but wont get visa stamping, because my H1 is under process. Is is ture?

Thanx in advance

Aneel

This is the very important document that you have to get from your employeer at any cost otherwise you will get AAP sure.

Even i got the same query just one month back, after a long wait i got that document but iam not sure that it provides correct information. Most of the employeers will hide this document, but you have to force them.

I have dropped that unemployent wage report document last week through vfs, but my hope to get the visa is very less.

I got my H1B VISA stamped after 221(g) cycle
Hi All,
I am silent member if this community since long back.Reading the posts really helped me boosting my confidence in getting my visa stamped.
Here are the things that were happened in getting
my H1B :
Attended H1B interview on Nov 27 2007.
Was issued 221(g) asking to drop all the docs which I carried during the interview(all financial reports,797,129,wage reports etc...) thru VFS counter HYD without passport.
Dropped all the required docs on Dec 11 2007.
Gt another 221(g) asking to drop passport for visa stamping on 13 Feb 2008.
Dropped my passport at VFS counter on 15 Feb 2008.
Got a courier from VFS with my passport stamped on 23 Feb 2008.

Once again thkx a lot for all the active members.
For those people who are awating for 221(g) clearance wanted to reiterate the fact that if the docs are genuine then you will definitely get it.
Al de best!
Rgds,
Ramana

Regarding Employer docs..
Hello all,

Im going for my H1b Visa Stamping on 25th Feb, I have a small query with regards to some of the docs sent by my employer. Some docs like wages reports , company photographs etc are sent to me in a sealed cover, if any of these docs are asked is it ok to tear the seal at that moment or should I handover the sealed cover directly to the VO.? Pls help..
