I am having all the required docs like company photos, tax returns & wages, lease agreement, offer letter, invitation letter, I797 and I129 documents with me. Apart from these I am having all my exp letters, tax returns and educational docs with me.

I am not having any document tells about the project. My company is asking me to tell that, I am going to work on inhouse project and my reporting manager is ZZZ.

Please suggest me how to go ahead about this.
Do they really insist for project specification document.

Please feel free to share your exp on this.

H-1B & H4 interview at Mumbai consulate
Myself and mywife attended for H-1B and H4 interview in mumbai consulate last week.

Following are the questions were asked for H-1B
1.Where are you working currently
2.How long you have been working
VO issued H1B visa

Following are the questions were asked for H4
1.Marriage certificate please?
2.Wedding invition?
3.Weddding photos
Took these documents inside and came back and said you need get the marriage certifcate from govt of india and then come back any day and submit this marriage certicate and will issue H-4 visa.We got 221(G) white form.

we did enquired with VFS before we go to interview whether marriage certificate issued by preist is sufficient or not and they said it is fine.Unfortunatly it is in correct.Bottom line
is you need to have registed marriage certificate issued by the govt.

Any body had this problem before and how long it takes to get the registerd marriage certificate.Any help is appreciated.

Over all interview is very cool and VO is very kind man and I also took all the required documents.

Following are my suggestions before you go to interview.
1.Get all the needed document first. If you are missing any please do not even take the appointment to go to the interview.
2.Once you have documents in place please start learning and understanding all the documents and what actully process is and why we are going what project we are going to work and more like question for everything and try to understand the whole process
3.Once you understand the whole process start reading the experience from different people and see what questions are being asked
4.Once you read all these questions then try to go thru the mock interview sessions and solid understand of each and everything
5.Now it is the time for interview appointment
6.once you book the appointment keep practicing until the final day
7.I promise you that you will have your visa
8.last but not least advise is make sure all the document are bullet proff correct and no fraud it is very very important and listen to the vo when asking the questions,Keep positive attitude.
Hope this helps
