Reg Passport
Recently i got 221(g) and there was nothing written on the form about the passport(Whether i have to send passport or not). When i contact to vfs they told that we have to send passport.

Some of my friends told if we drop the passport(even though if there is not written on the blue form) they will send another 221(g) stating that your case is under AAP.

So please seniors help me whether i should go according to vfs or my friends advice who got the same similar experience.

Thanks to all people.

Is it possible to apply H1 again?
Hello Friends,

I applied h1 in 2007, i got 221g (blue slip) stating

Application Processing Information
The petition is being returned to USCIS for further review. Upon completion of review, USCIS will contact your petitioner. Please wait for a notification from the consulate before returning.

Now my questions is
1) How long it will take to complete my processing.
2) Is it possible to apply H1 again this year.
3) Few of my friends said, I can apply for B1 or L1 but wont get visa stamping, because my H1 is under process. Is is ture?

Thanx in advance

This is the very important document that you have to get from your employeer at any cost otherwise you will get AAP sure.

Even i got the same query just one month back, after a long wait i got that document but iam not sure that it provides correct information. Most of the employeers will hide this document, but you have to force them.

I have dropped that unemployent wage report document last week through vfs, but my hope to get the visa is very less.

Hi All,
I am silent member if this community since long back.Reading the posts really helped me boosting my confidence in getting my visa stamped.
Here are the things that were happened in getting
my H1B :
Attended H1B interview on Nov 27 2007.
Was issued 221(g) asking to drop all the docs which I carried during the interview(all financial reports,797,129,wage reports etc...) thru VFS counter HYD without passport.
Dropped all the required docs on Dec 11 2007.
Gt another 221(g) asking to drop passport for visa stamping on 13 Feb 2008.
Dropped my passport at VFS counter on 15 Feb 2008.
Got a courier from VFS with my passport stamped on 23 Feb 2008.

Once again thkx a lot for all the active members.
For those people who are awating for 221(g) clearance wanted to reiterate the fact that if the docs are genuine then you will definitely get it.
Al de best!

Regarding Employer docs..
Hello all,

Im going for my H1b Visa Stamping on 25th Feb, I have a small query with regards to some of the docs sent by my employer. Some docs like wages reports , company photographs etc are sent to me in a sealed cover, if any of these docs are asked is it ok to tear the seal at that moment or should I handover the sealed cover directly to the VO.? Pls help..

H1b stamped after 221(g)
First of all I need to thank each and everyone who are posting their experiences inthis site which were really helpful for those who are attending interview and also who were refused under 221(g).
I have attended interview on Oct12 last year. As my slot at 10:30AM. I joined the queue at 9:30AM. On that day it was too crowded and I got my chance to go into the counter at 12:30PM. Interview goes as below.

Me: Good Afternoon sir and passed on my blue folder.

VO: He wished me the same and asked whats your qualification.

Me: Bachelor of technology in Computer Science and Engineering.

VO: Can I see your certificates?

Me: Sure sir and passed my OD and marks lists. Then he looked at them and give them to me

VO: Whats your project?

Me: Explained about my In-Houser project in US.

VO: He typed something in computer and asked me about project description.

Me: As my employer didn't send me any project description document and just told me the project name. So I have prepared description myself and taked it with me. So I passed that project description document to him.

He looked at it and typed something on computer and asked me the tax returns of my employer. As my employer sent me only 3 pages of tax returns(first page of each quarter tax returns), I passed it to him. He looked at it doubtfully and taken 221(g) blue form and ticked all petioners docs and given it to me and also he strikes of sumit passport option inthat form and asked me not to submit my passport along with the docs. Iam very much disappointed and came out of the consulate and made a call to my employer. He told me that he will send those docs in 10 days. After 1 month he sent all the docs required and I submitted the docs on Nov29. and waited and waited and following this site everyday. Finally on Feb7th I got a courier from VFS. In that, I found another 221(g) form in which they asked me submit my original passport. I have submitted the passport on Feb13th and Now on Feb19th I got my passport stamped. So I suggest who ever got 221(g) not to loose their hope. If your employer is genuine, then you must get your passport stamped.

So whoever going to interview must carry the following documents from petitioner.
1) Project description If In-House project. If your employer didn't send it to you, you must force him to send it. otherwise you may get 221(g).
2) Client letter and client agreement if its not a In-House project
3) Tax-Returns from last 3 quarters. You must get full document.
4) Unemployment wage reports
5) Financial statement

and be confident(which everyone says, but its difficult to follow as everyone feel little bit nervous when we got a chance to go to the counter) and arrange your documents so that you can give them to the VO without delay.

Good Luck :-)

221 G Refusal
Hi All.............

I had my Visa interview yesterday (19th February 2008) at 10:00 am. It went on well except for the fact that I was given 221(G) refusal asking for some more documents from my petitioner. My visa officer advised me not to drop my passport. Can any one please explain me about this scenario? How much time would it take for the entire process to get completed? What is the chance for the visa being issued?

Your help is highly appreciated

Thanks and Regards
Padmanabhan
