Got H-1B Visas for me and my wife
I attended for H-1B Visa renewal and my wife for a fresh H-1B on Jan-17th. Before she was on L-1 Visa. The VC asked me how long have you been working in your XYZ company and gave the Visas. He said that there is a minor administrative work from their side to get electronic copies of our H-1s and it will take a week to send our passports and as said we received them in 1 week.

Got H1 after 221g blue from chennai
Hi all
really today is my day.I got my passport with stamping after 2 and half months of submission of documents to 221g.
Initially I have attended interview on Sep 20th in chennai.then I got 221g for project description.Later my employer took 2 months and send them on Nov 16th, on which date i got married.I have submitted the whole set of documents in VFS hyderabad on Nov 30th with passport.As I was asked to send passport initially,I was expecting the result within 1 or 2 weeks.But it was all waiting for me and my husband asking me to apply for H4.When we consulted attorney for this, they said that after getting H4 my chances of getting H1 are 50 - 50.But I don't want to lose H1 so waited.
Finally my confidence and waiting worked for me and I got my passport today.People who got 221g blue will get the change of status in VFS site.So don't worry who are waiting for ur turn.

I got the documents in last week but it is incomplete. They have given the reports of employees who are citizen of US only.They have not provided the report of other employees who are on H1B. The US Company is having very less people around fifteen, and only three employees are from US citizen and the remaining on H1B.When i ask this same to my employeer he told that we dont pay any wages to H1B people, so we are not providing the report. He told that you dont know the US laws. This is our final report and you have to go with this document only and we are giving assurance that you will get visa with this report.
So iam very confuse whether i should go, or i have to force my employeer to give. Iam sure that if the visa officer is not satisfied with the report he will definetely put my cas under AAP.
So please people help me who knows more about this case.

Ans. I have only two pages document will be giving it for ur reference.

Ans. Explained about my past experince and technology worked on.
7. How many years of experience you have?

Finally told like visa is granted and you will be receiving the passport in weeks time.

My wife has got her H4 . Initially when she went to consulate they have asked my first 3 months banksttemtns as well my pay slips and i-797,129 and LCA , she forgot to drop LCA at VFS . She got her H4 on saturday ..

Succesful stamping at us consulate,chennai on 11th feb
Hi all,
I got my h1 visa stamped on 11th feb at the chennai consulate.These are my experiences
1.9.30am,entered into consulate after cheking all documents.
2.submitted the documents in a counter where in all the required ones are kept in a blue folder by them after finger printing and all.
3.There was a big Q.after a wait of 1hour in the Q, my turn came.This is how it went.
V.O:HI sir.
mymine:Hi mam,GM
V.O:U R s is h1?
mine:yeah.
V.O:CAN U SHOW ME U R DEGREE CERTIFICATES?
MINE:SHOWN
v.o:Yours is a consulting company?
mine:answered appropriately.

she was typing something in the computer and finally came the gloden words,"your visa is granted u can collect the passport in three days time".

I got my H1B stamped successfully. To be on short it was confidence that had helped a lot.
Be cheerful when you in the queue before your turn comes and during the interview. This is how it was:
My app time was 1.30 p.m. in Chennai Consulate.
1. I was there around 1 p.m.
2. Formalities like, Appointment letter, passport verification at the entry, Document verification inside the consulate have been done.
3. Joined the queue before the actual interview building. They called people with time slots.
4. Once you are in, be alert and cheerful when you are standing in the common queue. You can have a look at what is happening in all counters(I guess there are 7 counters). There were some people given with 221g forms. NOTE: Consulars are looking out very often though they are seems to be busy with interviewing others. so keep watching around and avoid having any chat with the people around.
5. My turn came and I just went into a counter. but VO was out for a break. After he was back he called me. Here it goes,
Me: Hello sir, Good Afternoon! (Dont expect him to wish...some VO do that aswell!)
VO: Good afternoon. Can you please pass the folder.
Me: Yeah sure. (I just passed my folder. He took out all docs, marked something in DS forms).
VO: M.C.A? (He just qouted my qualification!)
Me: Yeah.
VO: What you gonna do in US?
Me: I am gonna work on <my responsibilities at the client site>
VO: <He just repeated my client name>
Me: Yeah.
After this he started entering something in his computer.
VO: Okay. Put your right thumb on the scanner...(I did..) and left thumb...(just a verification...)
I thought it was all over. Because I know that he was satisfied with my reply.
He just returned my Work permit from the folder and took other stuff(DS forms, passport etc).
Thats it. All done.
I am again repeating the same thing, first present yourself well and have confidence...that will do the magic...Do your homework..God will do the rest...

Received the H1-B and H4 Visa-Stamps from N.Delhi
Hi All,
Day before I received the PPs for myself and my wife with H1-B and H4 stamps in them resp. It took them
6 months to issue the same. I had worked in US prior
to this for 8 years. Just before coming I had changed the employer but did not start to work for them. The stamp that I got had the Receipt No (WAC) of the New employer but the name of the Petitioner on the Visa stamp is of the old employer ... Does anybody has any idea about this ... Pl. share ....

I was just asked company tax returns and client letter and contract agreement....
Keep your cool and be confident.....
Documents that are a must to be carried:
1. All original degree certificates
2. LCA
3. I797
4. I129
5. Company tax returns for (1 years and last quarter) or (last two years).
6. If inhouse project, project description and if client project : client contract agreement, client letter
7. Experience letters (current and prev companies)
8. Offer letters...
In front of me, I have seen two people getting 221G coz they did not get tax returns and required client documents...
Carry all required docs, know about the company u r going to work and project description well and the visa shud not be a problem. Show that u r professional and demonstrate your technical abilities if required by using right jargon.
