I have a question. Earlier i know EAD/AP combo cards were arriving as soon as biometric were done. But now its taking a lot of time. So the question is: if we are done with Biometric (Fingerprinting), but EAD/AP combo cards NOT received, can we go out of US and come back? what will be the implications?

You can always use your non immigrant visa but check with you attorney.Originally posted by jhawarster View PostI have a question. yes, visa will be valid but i am concerned if travel would harm/delay on I-485?Originally posted by caslipknotsingh View Post

I am in same situation. Biometrics done on March 4th. No news from USCIS after that. My attorney said, if we travel on non immigrant visa & come back, it wont affect I485 processing time. We may get RFE but as long as you are in status, while coming back into US, its fine. Ofcourse first advice is to avoid travel until EAD/AP is with you. Travel only when absolutely necessary.Originally posted by jhawarster View Post

Has your 131 and 765 case receipt date has reached/crossed inquiry date?Originally posted by jhawarster View PostI have a question. Is your EAD case receipt date also past processing time?Originally posted by Nimbus2000 View PostDid anyone here raise an SR by themselves? Case has been handled entirely by company attorney so far. Had biometrics on March 26th and no EAD yet and need it soon. Thinking of raising an SR myself since the I-131 is now past standard processing time. Anyone have any luck with that?

You may travel while your i485 application is being processed but I have learnt that your I131(AP) becomes denied or abandoned. Attorneys have also asked to not use the AP in case USCIS makes a mistake and issues you the AP after the travel. Also re-entry will be based on the visa and not the dependant applications.
Ideal case is to avoid international travel if possible.
Again this is just from research and not a legal opinion.

So I am in the same boat like you, I am assuming the combo card would be issued only once the 765 application has reached processing times.Originally posted by Nimbus2000 View Post
No, just the I-131. They were filed Oct 26th, so I-765 is still within normal processing time.
I hope I am very wrong and we all get the combo card soon after Biometric.

The AP would be considered abandoned and you'll have to refile AP.
