October 2020 I1485 filers may join

So if the online status says - "Fingerprint Fee Was Received" does it means they have cashed the check? or started working?
Mine says "On December 2, 2020, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485...." But I have not anything since then. How long does it take to get biometric appt. letter?

Either one...if checks cashed or got notice means that they have started working on your case!

85 days completed (Oct 29th 2020), but not received receipts for I-485.
Cheques also not en-cashed yet.

Exactly in the same situation, filing date 10/29, cheques still not cashed. I have tried all means like Emma chat, lock box email, call centre, scheduled call with USCIS officer, but still no movement.

On October 1, 2020,USCIS received Form I-485 ( for me me, my wife, my kid)

Then my wife and my kid did the biometrics and now they received EAD and advance parole

What about me ? No biometrics appointment yet

Hi Everyone! i have filed my i485 on October 30, 2020. the checks Haven't been cashed and i also dont have the receipt notice. i wrote an email to lockbox support today at USCIS enquiring about my application. Does anyone know whats the turnaround time for them to respond and what kind of response can i expect? or is it just a sham with a standard automated response.

As per my understanding, email inquiry may take up to 30 business days. I am worried don't know if there are any other steps I can take or just need to keep waiting..:-(

They say within 30 days but who is going to do what if they don't respond. There is no one to escalate this to ! I tried by reaching out to congressman. But they need the receipt number at least to do an inquiry on our behalf. Another option is Ombudsman. If the receipt has not been generated for 90 days, 91st day one can reach out to ombudsman for an inquiry on one's behalf. But again there is no TAT on it. For all we know, they might take 30 days to respond again :/

I received my receipt notice on Jan 27 for Oct 29 filling. So, others around this date should receive their notices shortly. Mine was filed at Dallas Lockbox and is been processed at NBC.

Oh thats good, What does NBC means? are you saying it was submitted at Dallas, but being processed at Chicago lockbox? which category is it Anoop?
