Anyone from October filers that received EAD/GC recently (in April)?

Need suggestion: Can my spouse apply for expediting EAD? He is presently working on H1B but needs EAD to join a professional course (candidates with EAD only can join, no visa is supported). Please provide helpful suggestions if any.

Here is reply I got from USCIS agent this week when I tried to expedite EAD/AP. You can make a request to expedite your case if you can demonstrate that your situation falls into one of the following categories: Severe financial loss to company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner's or applicant's failure to: (Note: Form I-129, Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, H-2A beneficiaries pending more than 15 days fall under this category) File the benefit request or the expedite request in a reasonable time frame, or Respond to any requests for additional evidence in a reasonably timely manner. Urgent humanitarian reasons (Note: Filipino WWII Veterans Program (FWVP) beneficiaries fall under this category); Compelling U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for the Department of Defense or DHS, or other public safety or national security interests) (Note: This type of request must come from official U.S. government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to the U.S. government); or Clear USCIS error.

If you can provide evidence that your case falls in any of the categories then they will consider expedite request. Upon receiving supporting documents they will decide your case. If you can provide evidence that without this course you will incur severe financial loss then they will consider. Hope this helps. Good luck.

So, if my spouse provides a letter from the course director that his participation in the course is important and that the institution will have a financial loss if he does not join the course then that letter may be helpful???

Interview tips:
1. Pray.
2. Keep calm and be respectful.
3. Bringing your lawyer is better but you don't have to like what I did. But the interviewer might pound, provoke and be mean to you like what happened to me. I think it was on purpose to test me. But keep your cool, organize your papers and bring all documents throughout your greencard process from the start. Bear on mind what's important is your greencard approval. Don't be emotional!
4. Be attentive to what the interviewer will ask as they could provoke you to snap and make a mistake.
5. Label your documents so when they ask you something you can give it right away. Interviewer is impatient. They would rather send you an RFE than wait.
6. The reason I got interviewed because I think could be because first I went straight to greencard and did not go through H1B, J1 or other employment visas so they don't have a record of me or second because I sent a complete package with medical so no reason for RFE. But I think it's the first one.
7. You might feel bummed out after the interview because the interviewer is not nice to you but at the end of the day they are just doing their job and if you did not violate any rules on status do not worry too much because they will give it to you if you deserve it. She approved mine after the interview. An hour after I left the interview my status got an update to Card is for Production.

Another tip is you can use the app Lawfully and subscribe if you want to see your phase and ranking. They have a fee but you can choose a monthly one for $14.99/mo. You can unsubscribe when you don't need the app anymore. I only used it for my I-485 and used it for 2 months. They have a free one but it's just the same as your online case status account. With a paid one you can see your ranking. I just used it to see my ranking so I can gauge how far I am to getting my greencard. Sometimes USCIS doesn't have a tracking number when they sent me my EAD but the app has it so I was able to track it.

Nope. Today, I contacted my lawyer. he said "EAD cards have been talking 3-7 months from the date of fingerprinting due to Covid." Sit tight. (My PD 2010 EB3)
