I have a question, if I travel abroad and when flying back, I need to transit in Canada, is my old green card (expired) and I-751 receipt will be able to enter Canada similar to green card? Basically, is the old Green card + i751 receipt the same as normal green card? Thanks.

Also update my timeline here: (By the way how can I put into my signature?)

    9.13.21 --- I-751 Notice date. ----- LIN (Nebraska center)
    9.10.21 ---- I-751 received by USCIS
9.9.2021 -- I-751 Sent out from Seatle, WA

I'll update my signature later this week.

good luck everyone. at least this time we have the authorization to work and Travel, unlike last time during 485 when we were in complete limbo.

Just got a notification that my “fingerprints were taken” although I didn’t go so I’m assuming they used the ones I gave them last time? Does that mean I won’t have to go in for them to take my fingerprints again?

They took your fingerprints from last time. No need to go.

I guess i need to wait kinda long for now. 20 Months to 23.5 Months ...

                  My case update -

Mailed (thru attorney) to USCIS AZ - 9/13/2021
Received by USCIS AZ - 9/16/2021
Got on text, receipt notice with SRC # - 9/17/2021
Cheque submitted to bank - 9/21/2021
Amount debited from acc - 9/22/2021
Received notice on mail with 24 month extension - 9/27/2021

Any Texas filers in similar timelines ?
Approx. how long it takes to get finger print notice/update ? I want to travel to India for 3 weeks and i am wondering if they ask me for biometric appointment that time.

I noticed Texas processing timeline went back by 2 months. Until 2 weeks back, they did show TX service center is processing Feb 2021 cases and today it shows January
2021. Any idea why is that fall back ?

Where can we see which date they are working on currently? Which website has it? Would love to check as well. Thank you.

9/29 - $680 filing fee/biometrics taken out of the bank
10/02 - Notice of Action received for 24 month extension - got the Vermont office listed on the bottom if that's relevant!

                      List of evidence I supplied:
                      • Joint savings account statement for August 2021
                      • Joint current account for August 2021
                      • Deed for our house which we jointly own and bought in may 2021
                      • Joint mortgage documents which even included my mother-in-law as she co-signed for my wife
                      • Joint 2020 tax return
I felt like this should absolutely be enough considering how heavy I went on the evidence for the initial adjustment of status. Would be interested to know how much everyone else provided.
                      Update to include fingerprints...

This site provides applicants the ability to see an estimate of the time to completion from submission of USCIS forms based on its adjudication location and subtype.

Select I-751 and your service center. It will have a date under 'receipt date for a case enquiry' and that is where they are currently at.

Vermont for me is backed up to Jan 2020...I imagine I'll have citizenship before the new green card.

(you have to select the form number, like in our case i-751 and processing center) it gives approx dates.

Wow, January 2020. This might actually be accurate because my friend who submitted last year (Oct 2020) still hasn’t received her permanent card yet and is still waiting.

It's been 20 days since I received my extension letter.
When should I be expecting if I need fingerprint or not? I see some people only took a few days before getting that letter.
