1st time H1B visa interview in Toronto
Last week I had my H1B visa interview in Toronto consulate. After seeing many forums I was really scared, moreover I had the interview scheduled at 11:30AM, the time when several applications were rejected. The visa officer asked me just 3 questions:
1) How I got the job?
2) What does the company (my employer) do?
3) Does my employer have a website?
To my greatest surprise my interview lasted for less than 5 minutes.
Then the visa officer told me to collect the visa on the following day.
The process went so smooth.
My advice for H1B visa applicants in Toronto is that just be calm and dont get panicked.

recently I attended for h1b
they given a 221(g) form
to produce some docuemtns
How serious it is .
If I submit the required docs they asked
will they ask again to submit some other documents
or will they considered my application what they asked if produce them.

MY H1-B VISA STAMPING
hi..greetings to all users. I recieved my H1-B stamping in london, united kingdom last week. The consular officer did not ask for any documents other than my masters degree which i completed in the UK.
My advice to anybody..is that carry all the documents whatever you have..keep photocopies of it. If you are lucky you may be asked for none. also..be calm and relaxed and have relevant information about the company you are going for at hand..like their clients, nature of their business etc. your job in the company.

My H1B has recently approved and if anybody went for H1B visa stamping recently at Chennai, please help me to clarify that whether I need to provide documents like personal bank statement for the past 6 months, photographs of inside and outside of the office currently working and the company at US. Kindly clarify my doubt.

F1 to H4 visa for my wife
My employer has submitted my wife's H4 petition 5 months back. She has not received her approval yet .We want to go to India in December for my H1B stamping. My question is can she apply in Mumbai consulate if she does not have her approval? She has her EAD valid till we reach there. If somebody has similar situation and has gone through interview process please share the experiences with me.Thanks.

I went to KL U.S Embassy for H1B Visa.they redirected me to india Delhi U.S Embassy....when i ask them the reason why they are redirected to india they told me Documents Verification........can anybody having same experience........plz send me your experiences at U.S Embassy Delhi for H1B Visa

Middle initial in H4 approval notice
I have an additional middle initial in the name in the approved H4 petition for second 3 years term. This initial is not present in the passport. This was a skip by the lawyer who submitted the petition. My passport says Menakshi Kannan and approved petition says Menakshi B Kannan. Trying to get it amended, but meanwhile have an appointment at Delhi US consulate. Will this be an issue? The first term H4 is already stamped on the passport.
