Can Husband and Wife Who Have H1Bs from Two Different Companies Attend One Visa Interview Slot
Hi there,
My wife and I both have H1b visas and we are planning a trip to India in November. My wife and I work for different companies and we need to attend the US consulate in Chennai for visa stamping.
Can both my wife and I book one slot- meaning- can both of us attend the interview for the same timeslot and date without having to book two separate appointments?
If that can be done - my wife has already booked her slot and I am looking to add my name for the same date and slot. However I am not sure what option to choose - Should I choose 'Group Scheduling Request' or should I add myself in "Step 6: Please click “Add by Name” or "Add Existing Applicant" if you have a group/family member (including a child) who needs to apply for a visa with you." This page is tagged under 'Dependents', so I am confused.

still delay to collect passport after H1b Visa interview
I have attended interview on 7th August @ Chennai, but status still shows as Administrative Processing.
I haven't received any 221g slip, officer mentioned my visa is approved. Can I request to share the experience if any one has gone through this scenario?

Upcoming H1B + H4 VISA interview
My H1 and my wife , son H4 interview is scheduled on Aug 28 2019. Please help me on below questions,
1. i dont have LCA - when i ask my employer they said it is not mandatory as i am not going to work in client location
2. dont have SOW and offer latter - when i asked my employer they are saying the above same reason.
Can anyone please help me who went through this scenario.

H1 interview experience
Attended H1B interview 8/20 at Mumbai. I am FTE, working for same company for ~4 years. Total time spend in US is ~8 years. This was 4th stamping in total, second with this company. First extension after I140. VO asked 3-4 simple questions - what does company do, your designation, salary, if you work inhouse etc. Then gave 221g green with first box checked (Your application requires additional administrative processing. This office will contact you via email). He retained the passport. Anybody has gone through same situation?

H4 EAD stamping experience
I am on H4 EAD. I am working through a staffing firm for their client on W2 contract. When I go for stamping do I carry employment letter of the staffing firm or need to get a letter from the client? Also in DS-160 do I write my employers name or their client’s name?

Can I reschedule my visa interview appointment past actual interview date
Hi everyone, My initial visa interview appointment was scheduled on September 19th 2019, I recently rescheduled it on August 26th 2019 but due to severe sickness I am not able to attend the interview on given date so if I reschedule it again will this be my last chance and further I won't be able to reschedule it again??or is there any option based on medical illness.
Suppose I have only one chance left can I reschedule it after my actual interview date because now if I reschedule it may take more than 2 months to get appointment since only 3days left for me to reschedule my interview. Kindly let me know the best possible way to reschedule it.

USA work experience between 2007-2011 . (H1b).
Came to India Feb 2011.
Applied for H1b Transfer on CAP Quota.
Attended VISA Interview on Feb 4th, 2018. Given 221 G Blue slip asking for submission of medical reports.
Feb 12th Submitted Medical records from ( Apollo Hospitals by paying 16500).
July 25th Got a letter from Consulate asking me to submit the passports
July 26th Submitted the passports .
No update till now...

H4 221g Dropbox Delhi - Admin Processing status
Hello, I have been initially interviewed on July 23 and provided 221g to submit stamped passport copy of H1B.
23 July- Admin Processing
7 Aug- Passport submitted at DropBox Delhi
Status still "Admin Processing" with last update of July 23
VFS global said I should collect my passport within 3-5 business days.
Did anyone received stamped Passport or status change for DELHI LOCATION after 7 Aug.
Already cancelled travel ticket and now not sure how to proceed with no status change on CEAC website. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I dropped off my documents in Chennai location today. The officer said it will take minimum 3 weeks of processing. Did anyone do drop box in Chennai recently and if so what was the processing time.
