H1B stamping af London , UK
I had H1B stamping at US embassy London UK. Experience little more interview scrutiny , may be because of stamping outside of home country. However it was very good experience and speedy. It took less than an hour to finish entire process ( entry to exit). New embassy building at London is very nice and spacious, plus extremely well organized.
London embassy generally takes 3-5 working days for issuing visa, plus two workings days for passports delivery. Total 7-10 working days. So please keep 10 working days spare to fly back after your interview.
Last , London is very nice city to visit , historic city with lots things to do .

Passport Delivery after Visa Issuance
Can anyone please tell me how long it takes for the passport to be delivered to the pick up center once the visa is issued?
My visa status changed to issued on Monday morning around 9 AM, and since yesterday, the status for my passport has been "Origin scan" (Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery).
I interviewed in Chennai, and have Hyderabad VAC as my pick up point.
It would be appreciated if someone can give an estimate for when I can expect the passport pickup email. I have my travel date fast approaching...

OPT to H1B
I have been discussing in threads in this forum. I wanted to share my experience here.
I am a PhD and working in a top company. This was my first H1B stamp after OPT.
I had the interview on 6th Dec. My case was under administrative processing without an update till 03rd Jan. And visa was issued on 4th. I collected my passport on 7th.
My case is a straightforward one, but it seems most of cases go to administrative processing and this can last for few weeks. So everybody waiting, just be patient (easier to say), it just takes sometime and you will get your visa. Good luck.

Question on New Mumbai Dropbox Center
Hello everyone,
I'm scheduled for a trip to Mumbai, and need to do my H1-B visa stamping via dropbox. I've a quick question.
Background: Ph.D in Computer Science, working with a research team in a Network Security Company
Question: The Document Drop-off Location at Mumbai has moved, since November 2018, to a new location in the Bandra-Kurla Complex area. This is now situated close to the U.S Consulate. The address is: Parinee Crescenzo, 101, 1st Floor, A Wing, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex
Does anyone, who has visited there recently and has seen the place, know if U.S visa Photography and Photocopying facilities are available in this building? Or will one have to necessarily go out (at least 2 Km, I'd imagine) to obtain any such documents on emergency basis and get back to drop off the now-correct documents?
(During my last trip they did not accept Costco photographs at the previous Document Drop-off center. But there was a person on premises who took pictures of me and my wife, and those got accepted.)

Visa restamping application in Admin Processing state since 40+ days
Me(H1b full time working in reputed company) and my wife(H4) had interview at Delhi consulate for passport restamping on 26th Nov 18. Consular approved our visa without asking much questions( didn't get any slips). My passport was ready for collection within few days but her application is still in Admin Processing state.
Status of her application:

They took all my passports even the old ones...All my other ids are US government ids.

DS160 - Previous Employment
Currently, I'm working as a Software Developer and on H1B Visa right now. I came to US on F-1 visa to do Masters after working for 5 years and mentioned my previous experiences in DS-160 before. I worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer in the past. Now, I came to India and planning to go for my first H1B stamping. Do I need enter same previous experiences what I have entered previously in my DS-160 else do I need to enter Software experiences related with my current job? Can someone please help?
