Submitted the Docs on: Dec 9, 2018 (Sunday - Visa Application Center was open since it was closed on Friday, Dec 7, 2018 for Telangana Elections)

Dec 17, 2018: Case Updated on Sec 17 2018: Status: Application Received
Dec 19, 2018: 5pm: Status changed to "Administrative Processing"
Dec 20, 2018: 1:30pm: Status changed to "Issued".
Dec 21, 2018: 10am: CGI Site Updated to "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery"
Dec 21, 2018. 12:30pm: CGO Status: "Passport ready for pickup".
My passport was ready just 1 day before my scheduled departure. For anyone planning on the timeline, plan accordingly.

BIOMETRIC: 19th Dec
VISA interview: 20th Dec
arrived 15mins prior to appointment time. Done with pre-check.
it took almost 1hr to reach VO counter.
This was my extension. My interview was ~1min.
VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning mam, How are you doing?
Questions: Employer, salary, client, know your rights.
Answered above questions.
VO:"VISA is approved"
Me: Thank you so much, Happy holidays.
I did noticed few folks were not answering properly to VO question. Listen the question and justify your self with valid answer.

H1B 221g client verification failed
I started working for Company A on EVC model from Sep 1st. Before I join to Company A, my H1B transfer petition was filed in Month of Aug and got approved. I went to india for H1B stamping on Oct 29th at chennai consulate, I was issued 221g blue slip and my passport was returned to me. After 10 days from day of interview I was informed by client manager such that client letter I provided to VO officer in consulate is not given by client manager. When I checked same with my employer over phone they agreed it was created by them. But I do not have email proof. I trusted my employer and not aware of this letter at all. What ever documentation they sent to me in courier I took that along with me. For saving himself my employer revoked H1B petition.
1. Am I going to be banned to USA because of this issue?
2. My old employer (B) H1B petition is still not revoked and valid up to Aug 13 2020. Can I go for stamping on thier petition? Do I need to withdraw my current visa application before scheduling another appointment.

It's been a very emotional/stressful past week. I am unsure how long this would take now. I came visiting due to family needs and i am in a limbo now. I have my wife/kid with me now, but they may have to travel back without me. Just sharing my experience for support!

I am FTE and this is my 3rd stamping. H4 issued the very next day.

VO: You have something on your file, I'm keeping my passport with me, we need some more time to make a decision, don't worry.
Me: When can I expect a decision?
VO: Typically it takes 3-5 business days, but your on top of that it may take 7 days.
So, just wait and see? Any ideas? I'm sure lot of us are on the same boat, just want to share my experience.

H1B experience - Melbourne Australia
Background: H1B extension, flew in from the US. Been in the USA for almost 11 years (College -> CPT -> OPT -> H1b -> H1b Extension)
Appointment time: 9:30
I came in by 8:45 took an UBER (the parking there is really hard to find if you're driving plan ahead). Stood in line by 8:50, took about 30 mins just to enter, not to many Indian, mostly Asian and Australian's.
Interview: I finally go upstairs by 9:45.
First queue line was for document check. Asked me to proceed to line 2.
VO: Whats your purpose of Visit
ME: H1b visa Extension
VO: whats your college name
Me: gave college name
VO: whats your company name
Me: Gave company Name
VO: Whats your Degree in
Me: Computer Engineering
VO: What is your position at <Company Name>
Me: Software Developer
VO: I am approving your Visa you should receive it a couple days.
Me: Can I have a number or anything to check my status online (I completely forgot that your can check your Status online with DS160 number on the CEAS status check)
VO: We will send you an email.
Appointment was on Monday DEC 10, passport received next Tuesday! (DEC 18) Australia is really show in processing, I had to cancel my flights from flying out on Sunday to the day I got my passport. Literally booked my return tickets on UBER back from the Mail Depot.
My advice give it more time for them to send out your passport. I didnt realize it will take this long as my first stamping was at CANADA and it took a day for it to get approved and pick up.

Dropbox and Interview experience Mumbai

This was my second time H1B stamping after company change and visa renewal. After submitting documents in dropbox, I was called in for an interview and I got my passport stamped today. Here's the timeline...
November 29, 2018: Dropped off my passport in Mumbai
November 30, 2018: CEAC Status "Application received"
December 10, 2018: Status changed to "Admin Processing"
December 11, 2018: Received an email to pick up passport (status same as "Admin Processing")
Picked up passport same day and got 221g (green slip). Was asked to attend interview anytime between 10.30 am to 11am during any weekday
December 12, 2018: Attended interview. Officer said there is some bug in the system due to which my OPT information was not updated and so I was called in for interview. He then approved my visa. Last updated date on CEAC website changed to 12/12/2018. Status same as "Admin Processing"
