H1B & H4 Interview experience at Chennai.
We had our interviews scheduled on 14th (Biometrics) and 15th (VO interview)

on 14th (Biometrics) the interview went pretty smooth and fast we have scheduled our interview at 8:00 AM
and returned back home at 8:15 AM.

Now comes the VO Interview day. we have our interview scheduled at 9:00 AM

We reached the consulate at 8: 30 AM and we are almost there before the VO at 9:00 AM approx.

Me: me and my wife greeted the VO with smile and said Good Morning Sir.
VO: Smiled back to us and said good morning

VO: who is your petitioner
Me: YYYY Inc

VO:Who is your client
Me: I said I will be working for multiple clients like A, B, C

VO: He asked what does Client C business in to
Me: Since this is a new employement I dont know much details about the client C

VO: What are your responsibilities
Me: I answered all my roles and responsibilities

VO: How did you get to know about this opportunity
Me: I said I have posted my resume on US jobsites and this employer found my skills to be interesting
and took my interviews and sponsored H1 and H4 for us.

VO: Can you show me the contracts
Me: Now I'm bit confused whether he wanted my offer letter or client and employer contracts.
I just gave him the contract letter between my employer and clients.

VO: He asked does your name included in these contracts.
Me: I said NO

VO: He asked petition document,
Me: I gave the same

VO: As per my guess " He asked my offer letter"
Me: I gave the same.

VO: He gave a yellow slip and asked us to wait in the lobby untill he calls us back.
Me: Thank you and started waiting in the lobby. on the yellow slip its written " Please be waiting untill
our officer calls you back"

We waited in the lobby for almost 5 hrs. He saw most of the interview approximately 40-50 interviews many sad and happy faces
also people who got yellow slips after us also went back and now we almost lost hope

finally after 5 hrs VO called us back.

VO: Sorry guys for keep you waiting, It was a very busy day for us here.
Me: No problem sir. we understand

VO: Now he turned to my wife and asked, mam whats your highest qualification.
Wife: She answered confidently

VO: He gave back the petition document i-797, offer letter, contract letter and passport and retained our current passports.
Me: said thank you

VO: Finally he said the Golden words " Your visa is Approved"
Me: we smiled and thanked the VO and left the consulate.

Tips:
Dress smart formals, guys clean shave, be very confident and listen to the VO questions properly.

Dont get tensed by seeing others rejection You know what you are and live with that word.

Answer short and simple and dont confuse the VO never.

Always Pray god for good to happen!!

221g -- weird issue
Hi All,

I am facing one weird issue. Actually I got 221g white slip on Oct 7th. Today I got call from consulate asking to send the project documentation again. What my employer saying is that the project was done an year ago. So he want to send me current project description which will be different from the previous one.

Here my question is, will there be an issue if there is mismatch in the project descriptions with my previous one and current one? Will consulate have my documents copy with them. They took the documents and asked me to wait for 2 hours. They haven't taken any documents from me after the interview. Would they have scanned and kept a copy of my project document?

Please let me know how to proceed in this scenario.....

continuation - 13th oct H1 and H4 B Visa approved. at hyd consulate
> every one were quiet and seeing everyone's face with their fate ahead.

> The process is as like one person is going and bringing a cart which shows a number on it like, 12, 14, 16 and so on.. it says that you should go to the specified number counter for your round.

> I got a number which I thought that, I have well prepared and lets see and face whatever it happens.

> again inside there were around 7 people standing in my queue and it was a calm and complete silence.

> Just VO with other translator is speaking to person is heard. To my tense, all the people in front of me were Rejected except the one who is standing in front of me as he is an H1 B applicant.

> Then I realized that all the people who got rejected were of B1, tourist visa. I again prepared a final time to my Mrs. seeing the experience.

> Now, my turn came, she put on her headset and is ready and fresh as next all were in English applicant and translator is not required.

> I was standing far until she gets settled down. She called me,

VO : Good Morning Sir, how are you doing
Me: I am fine Ma'm, Thank you, how about you.
VO: said I am fine Thanks.

VO: Who is filing your petition
Me: I gave appropriate answer as I was wearing my companies ID too.

VO: On which designation you are deported
Me: I did not understand, so I said, I beg a pardon, please repeat again
VO: On which designation you are going
Me: I gave appropriately as per my designation

VO to my Mrs.

VO: When did you get marry ma'm
Mrs: gave exact date

VO: Where are you planning to stay in US
Mrs: Said xxxxxx State's capital city
VO: said is it xxxxxx (State)
Mrs: YES

VO: How many kids you have
Mrs: as my Mrs.is already exhausted and could not give answer
Me: I said yes 2 kids Ma'm

Finally, what I was awaiting to hear the golden words were heard.

VO: YOUR VISAS HAVE BEEN APPROVED SIR.
ME: Thank you so much Ma'm

VO: Have you took the Rights booklet
Me: I said yes,

Me: Thank you Ma'm

This was my experience thru as I have prepared my Mrs and me a lot and ultimately I got the result.

Passports collection:
I tracked my passport as YOUR PASSPORTS ARE READY TO PICK then I collected my 4 passports yesterday and looked at clearly every spelling, word, number is appropriately on my Stamping. and Yes its my wonderful experience and I wish you ALL A VERY BEST INTERVIEW.

Things to remember:
> Dress up formal, usual dress where u feel comfortable more.
> Don't bring even a electronic items or water bottle, they will not allow as we have plenty of water inside to drink
> The security guys are really helpful and friendly, we should really appreciate them

and rest you all know what will happen.
